I found this pretty informative
That actually where I got the Idea for the loop above the throttle body. I was originally going to put a bleeder in the Waterpump. Thanks for sharing!
My lines are pretty similar. I ran the steam vent in to one of the lines. When I need to bleed it I just take the steam vent line off and hold it in the air, flip on the electric WP and wait for water to shoot out it.
I was able to get the whole system bled in my driveway (downhill) with the radiator as the highest point and without an engine side bleeder. I still put a bleeder in the front last night to quickly bleed steam out if needed. Took a long time, and the air bubbles had quite a bit of velocity by the time they came out the top of the rad (like a geyser!) but it eventually calmed down and stayed at a cool temperature.

Holy schnikes! This thing is gonna really make the jam.
Ya, I will eventually trim the wastegate dumps. Forgot to do it before I Cerakoted them, now I'm afraid of scratching them up lol
Finally got the car out on the track. Went to iTrack's excite GP comp at Lanier Raceplex in GA.
In the Week leading up to the event, the car was Dyno tuned at Solo Motorsports. Unfortunatly, my 340TW 245's werent enough on the back of the car, and we kept spinning on the Dyno, best numbers were 550RWHP @ 4700 rpm dyno'ing in 5th Gear.
As for the Drift day, I had a rough start. I went out before the track opened up because I really hadn't driven the car at all, and my PS fluid boiled over causing a small fire in the engine bay. Spent most of the morning patching that up and swapping out hoses. Got it going again and got to drive for the afternoon.
After a few runs, I was driving comfortably in 4th gear, and did a full throttle transition on the back straight. Welp, something happened and there was a terrible knocking coming from the engine. I was done for the day.
Turned out I spun cyl 1 rod bearing. I'm not sure if the rod bolt stretched (wasn't broken) or if the oil broke down due to temperature, but it happened.
This morning, I dropped the now disassembled block off to the machine shop, along with Lunati Rods, Wiseco Pistions, a new crank, and all new bearings should be going back into the car next week if all goes well. I wont be looking to make more power, but hopefully sustaining high RPM won't be a problem now. The machine shop is:
1. Decking block
2. Cylinder hone
3. Cam bearing install
4. Balancing Rotating assembly (w/ Flywheel and Pulley)
5. Line hone main bores
Anywho, here are some pics.

Something to note w/ LS Swaps in track/ drift cars is that many people have had oiling issues. I would look at upgrading to a baffled oil pan and/or adding an accusump. A stock F body pan just isn't designed for high G's.
good idea! Hope it works out for you. Oiling issues can be hard to treat effectively w/o proper data.
Shes back running, new mods other than the forged Internals are:
LS9 cam
LS7 Lifters
LS2 lifter trays
80mm Throttle body
Accusump
Large Oil Cooler
ARP main studs
Tube Front (still needs to be finished)
She has not been retuned yet, there are some hot start issues and timing issues that need to be worked out hopefully this week.
Heres an updated engine bay pic!
looks good.
what paint did you shoot your bay with?
always trying to make it lighter and faster

Seems to be an good paint. I didn't do too much prep, and you can easily pull it off the super smooth panels like its plastidip (bare aluminum, underneath of grease covered frame rails, etc) but it's my fault for skimping on the prep work. On may cage and interior, its holding up very well.
