I just spoke with one of the admins. The server took a dump and they are transferring all info to another server. It could be up anytime between another 1-2 days, possibly sooner

Me too, when I sold my '88 I stopped posting but was a frequent reader. I recently bought another E24 and found I had been "deactivated". I wonder if they might change their policy and at least give folks a warning that they need to post ever so often in order to remain active.

Update...
The server that hosts Bigcoupe is in LA. It's managed by a very small company and the Linux Admin has been sick. For you geeks out there, the NFS server died and the RAID has to be rebuilt.
I'm waiting impatiently for him to get better and fix. This may prompt some changes but for now I just want to get it up and running again. My best guess is it will be back up by Tuesday.
Lee, if you need your new Id linked to your old ID, let me know.
In regards to >> I don't recall my account having to be approved either when I signed up in '09. <<
We've been nailed by spammers. I hate it but I simply cannot have an open registration again.
Also, regards the removal of inactive users.
In hindsight, this large purge was a bad idea. I had good intentions but there were some aspects I didn't see and realize how it would affect users. Sorry for that. It wont happen again

Hope it goes well Brian. Glad to hear you won't K.O. non posters in the future. Should I sell my 633 and be awaiting the wife's permission to M6 it, I'd hate to be booted. The community is just too much fun.
looking forward to bigcoupe up and running shortly.

Brian - good luck with fix. I'm suspecting you've got a pretty loyal group that's anxious to get back.
