I just did the license plate LED lights in a standard white... Looks VERY nice, but I just can't imagine having that colour INSIDE my car. Specially with grey leather, I think it would just look like a cold storage room or something. Might have to begin sourcing parts for a custom warm white LED kit - I cannot believe none of the LED kit suppliers make them in warm white, that's sad.
FWIW - even though old thread - you're all bastards!
ANOTHER $100 spent . . . hahahah
Thanks for the bulb info OP!

Delayed response, but Euro and NA spec use the same plate lights, just slightly different locations due to the wider plate area on Euro cars.
O and FYI guys the Ziza kit is on sale right now 25% off and free shipping until 1/3/2018 (LINK).

They are pretty bright. We did a video a while back that does a better job of showing the brightness than any photos really will due to exposure games etc.
I thought I'd add a little bit to this thread. The original post was really useful for piecing together my own set of LEDs from Amazon. As you may know, the 750iL also has additional footwell lighting front and rear (under the dash, and under the rear seat bench). These use the same 3710 or 36mm bulbs which are used in the bottom of the doors.
Updated list including length of festoon lights (may be easier to search):
9x - 4410 or 42mm, which covers: 1-dome, 4-visor vanity, 2-rear courtesy, and 2 trunk.
9x - 3710 or 36mm, which covers: 1-glove box, 4-bottom of doors, 2-under dash (750iL), 2-under rear bench
4x - BA9s which covers: 2-map lights, 2-rear map.
Update: I found that the front map lights didn't like the normal BA9 LEDs, I had to use reversed-polarity LEDs which I sourced separately. Going forward I would recommend just buying 4 of these since they can be used in both normal and reverse polarity positions.
I used this list to search Amazon for suitable sets of lights and ordered the following (I grabbed packs which had extra lights in case of failures)
42mm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (20-pack b/c it was a good price compared to 10)
36mm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
BA9: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
BA9 w/reverse/no polarity (for front map lights): https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-NO-REVER...72.m2749.l2649

Btw, the kit is on sale, I just bought it: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ziza-par...kit/e38intkt2/
I know this is a super old thread, but wanted to update a bit I went the ECS Ziza route back in the day, I didnt like how white/blue the light was, it wasnt any brighter and the color was sterile. Sold that E38 a while ago and now I am in a new one.
Anyway, wanted to take another shot at this but with warm white. Followed the bulb numbers in the original thread and bought them all in warm white. Whenever I get a chance to change them all out I will try and take before and after pics.
