The car is going to a local if I'm not mistaken.

Congrats, Jesse! Here is a pic from years ago, from the International Baur Registry.

Thanks Tom, but I've already done a fair bit of digging on Baur #4210 and have since copied those pics to my hard drive, along with several others. And, I am most happy to announce that they are both staying with me! I had made my original deal with Seth to trade him my blue 323i + some cash for his Baur, but it was just breaking my heart to let my e21 go. I have way too much blood & sweat equity into my car to let it go, so they are both staying in my care. I will sleep much better tonight... after much beer & fireworks! Happy Independence Day!
I look forward to seeing some pics. Incidentally, I have info on that car going back a while: it came from Burbank to Colorado (losing its targa roof in the process!) before Seth bought it, and he then brought it to the PNW. I will take a look through my stuff for more info. I would love to do a full post on it in Baurspotting one of these days.

BTW, being located in the PNW, you may be in the perfect location to test out this unique Baur feature:http://s306.photobucket.com/user/jge...rch81.jpg.htmlLet us know how you make out. Mine works exactly as intended.
....... which is to say, not at all!
