S50B32 Compares to S54???

What improvements that S54 has compared to S50B32??

What I've known is S54 in EURO E46 M3 is 343bhp@7900rpm, that's 22bhp more than S50B32 EURO E36 M3's 321HP@7400rpm.
In MZ3, S54 and S50B32 seem to produce the same power in EURO version. And they all have DOUBLE-VANOS and 6 throttles.

So What's the difference when they are in MZ3??
