I took the scenic route home from the airport last week and had time to enjoy a cigar with the top down. Had a kid pull up beside me in a 328is and holler, "nice car, man." Beautiful California day, about 74, not a cloud in sight, top down, Pandora playing. Life seldom gets any better until the traffic clears and then it almost never gets better.
Mountain roads are an improvement though.
I hit the Ortega Highway with light traffic going my way. I was able to pass the only car in front of me and get several miles of open road until I caught the next pack of slow cars. Mountain road, sunny day, top down, music blasting, and 60 in 3rd lifting the pedal to set up for the curve, then pressing the pedal to launch out of it. Twisty mountain road for 30 miles, hit the brakes less than 10 times. That's living.
You forgot that you need to be driving with "the man" like I was yesterday. Can I get a praise Jesus in the house?

Did Jesus take the wheel, or just help you turn it?
Sometimes he take it and others he turns it but I usually grab it in time to straighten it out just before I go into a ditch.
