Sorry posted this in the wrong thread as it's been a while since coming back here!So I haven't been back to BMW in 4 years...own a mercedes now, and worked out a pretty good deal on a 2013 M5 at a local dealership in Edmonton. It's fully loaded - Exec package / extended leather / Night vision / rear Ent. I normally don't buy a car off the show room floor, but I loved the color combo. It has the upgraded Azurite Black Met paint with the Platinum Merino Int.
I loved the look of the car, and have a deposit down as I was able to negotiate $ off the list. I wanted to come back to this forum to the more seasoned owners and pose some questions.....I was actually surprised at how little the salesmen knew about the car, and he didn't even know the options list and what they meant...unreal. I am a car nut so I have done my research, but the one thing I noticed was when coming home and building the car online, the Bang and Olfsen was not even an option? I know on the M6 you can "click" this option, but what system comes with this car? and why do I read online where this was an option on the M5? was this not avail in Canada? The salesman had no clue either...and even tried to tell me the driver seat was "adaptive" like the Mercs when you corner hard it grabs you....they don't in the M5. When I built it online I clicked every option that was avail which is like the one in the showroom...and it comes with the 20" rims which I forgot to mention, which looks like it's standard now in Canada? Anyway, just on some comments, and if anyone has any feedback on how they like their new M5?
