2008 X3 Issues/Problems?

I'm looking at an '08 X3 and before I pull the trigger I wanted to know if there any issues or problems on that year (like the '07 -tranny, head/overheating) etc.
The one I'm looking at has 80K.

Any feedback on pricing would be appreciated also.

To me, it seems that X3's have a real issue with their evaporators for the A/C. I work in a BMW store in the Chicagoland area, and we seem to replace more X3 evaps more than any other model, other than the X5(E70 body). Make sure the A/C is in good working order . The R-134A freon has a quite pungent odor to it so when you get in the vehicle, turn the air on and put your nose to the face vents & see if there is an odor of the freon. If there is, the evap is probably leaking. Rear coil springs like to break as well. Check Engine lights come on too(usually for a tank vent valve or something to do with the evaporative recovery system of the fuel system). That is all that I can think of at this time... Make sure that you purchase a good extended warranty policy .
