I've had this thought daily for the last couple years, yet still haven't made the move. I can't justify spending 2-4x (I was looking everywhere from 996 C2s up to GT350R) to get what, something more mass produced? I had a 5.0 Mustang with the 10 speed as a rental car once, and it was addictive power-wise, but now all I think of every time I see one is that it's a rental car. 911s are fantastic, until you start pricing out some standard replacement parts and realize it's an entirely different class of cost for not much gain, IMO.

Ya. I came to the same conclusion! Mustang must be great, they sold so many, but there is so many out there..

911, performance appear similar in that period and part / maintenance are very high from what i got!

I may see one or two M every summer, that it...

And price is starting to go back up, i got mine appraise at the start of the summer, 22k$ cad. Saw one on sale for 28k$ cad...

    Now the long wait begin

Well here in the Chicagoland area (NW Indiana) it's not as extreme, but even at 30°F the car still sets in the garage. So you're not alone.

I'm going nuts here in Iowa with cold temps and snow on the ground. Makes we want to sit behind the wheel and pretend to drive....

Curious, what area of MTL are you in? I am married to a woman from Cowansville and we get up that pretty often. I think of it as a second home.

My wife and I are planning a trip through Quebec and Atlantic Canada in early September. We will be taking hwy. 132 for the most part. Any suggestions for scenic roads along the south shore would be welcomed.

    If you can:

Whether you find yourself in a city or the surrounding landscapes of the province, the peak time for stunning autumn colors throughout Quebec is late September and early October.

    The color are amazing

Thanks for the links sepota. My wife and I have done the Hwy 132 run around the Gaspe Peninsula on our motorcycles and it is spectacular! The food, especially the seafood, is great as well. For those Who don't know this road, here's a few photos.
