I've always loved big rims and I would really like to put 24s on my 93 740i. I want to know if this is possible. I don't mind making modifications to the car. If you're going to tell me that its a stupid idea or it won't look nice, please don't comment.
Im not gonna say its impossible but it is not going to be easy. Your gonna have to find a fairly thin wheel running a low offset or spacers. Something in the neighborhood of 24x8.5 or 24x9 +10. The tires will have to be 30 series at the most. In rear im running 19x10 with strectched 245/45s at around +17 with spacers and in super hard bumps i rub. The front does have a hair more space. Why dont you try test fitting some 20s on rubberbands first and see what happens. The wheel openings on e32 just dont have nearly as much space as e38 etc. Actually i am sitting in my front yard looking at my rears and right now with 19s in back on the 245/45 there is only an inch of wheel arch space front and rear of tire. Im super doubtful 24s will clear that.

Do you need some upgraded injectors for your m20, m30, m50, m60? I sell rebuilt bosch gen III 17lb and 19lb injectors. For more information check here! http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...ale-Rebuilt!!!
I have 18s and it is really tight. For 24s you will basically have a strip of rubber instead if a tire, unless you do something with the front spring perch. Maybe coil overs with a much smaller in diameter spring to pull it in, away from the wheel

Pure ghetto. Why on God's green earth would you want to defile a poor innocent e32?

The only way you could fit 24's under an E32 would be to do a suspension lift of some sort.
The car would look like this, I imagine:

As I said, I love big rims and was curious if it would work. Being disrespectful about it is not going to help anyone. I just wanted to know if it was possible. I will most likely be going with 20" as that seems to be the common answer for the biggest rims on this car. Thank you to the people who actually gave me a legitimate and helpful answer.
