My first race in my first BMW. Came from a FWD Honda, spent 3 days learning the ways of the M3. Of course, it wasn't without some "learnings"
Had to share, just found Andy Lally driving :

any comments, observations, vs your hondy?
Very different, very different indeed. The transition wasn't as bad as I thought, but there was a transition. This is a very developed car. Lots of suspension goodies, brakes that actually work, and 100hp more. Since it drives from the correct end, I have to learn to manage the throttle more than before. The Honda basically had a binary throttle. You could mash it anywhere, point the front wheels and it would go. This one requires more of a gentle touch.
It's ugly as can be now, but here is a pic from the event

alfa?.....yikes.....
The Alfa was quick. SCCA E prod car running slicks. We were evenly matched on the first day. I stepped up my game and said bubbye
Getting better, even though video quality sucks with an unstable mount.

New PB after some coaching. Getting closer to hitting that 2:00 mark but there's still some work to do. This weekend was all fundamentals.

My first race weekend in my new to me GTS2 NASA race car. The real fun begins at 12:20 when I get into a heated battle with another car.
