Sweet driving.....she always seems very planted.....you correct very little.

Tremblant Fall Classic from last weekend. Starting from the pits. Fun run, but an abrupt end.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pmyafJqf14
ahhhh.......got it..
Thanks dude! We're really lucky in Ottawa. Mosport is 3.5 hrs, Tremblant 2hrs, and calabogie 1hr away. All world class tracks.
The car is a factory bmw motorsport chassis and former bimmerworld wc car, so yeah, it's a good setup
This is a really cool video for me personally because it was my first time ever driving Dad's Ginetta G4, as well as my second-ever time in a right hand drive car. That said, I think I did alright. I was going about 6 or 7/10 and short shifting by 1,000rpm and still did a 1:19 flat! What a fast car...

Pocono Southeast course with Del-Val BMWCCA
Having fun getting the car a little loose... I love wet track days
All I had to do was kill the Cortina!
It was a lot of fun, I just wish I had more than a few laps to get comfortable. I bet there would be a little more correcting if I picked up the pace a bit...
It was actually really sunny that morning, but I had to crank down the exposure on the video because I had some red dot setting on the GoPro that overexposed it a lot.
Here's a video of the G4 really getting put through its paces; it's an awesome race between Dad and Todd Reid in his Lotus Super 7. Probably the best vintage race I've seen!

So I did my first-ever laps of Watkins Glen in the Ginetta today, managed a 1:18.2 or something! Unreal! I have video to edit/upload at some point, but it's mostly boring because I was learning the line and short-shifting. Racing again tomorrow afternoon, I may try to shave a couple/few seconds off that time! The esses are definitely the most fun section of the track by the way, especially when you first hit the compression in the right-hander.

Gah, yeah, 2:18. Can you tell I'm new at it? I was really excited about my race today, but it only lasted half a lap before being black-flagged for an incident...too bad, as I was hoping to shave at least a couple seconds off. Maybe next year?
And yeah, the G4 is definitely not in DD shape, haha.

Here's my lap at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. This was during normal tourist drives (touristenfahrten). Very crowded afternoon and a low sun made it a bit dangerous. After my lap they closed the track for a long period of time. Probably because of a big accident.
I'm relatively new to the track, this is my 2nd lap I have ever done here:
I hope you like it
I'm jealous! Haha the ring always looks like so much fun
Went to Winton again on the weekend, managed to improve 2.7 seconds on AD08R and with full interior this time along with an LSD which made all the difference... it was a very hot day so tyres were going off after a lap or two
Highlight reel from Sunday

Had my first off track experience at Willow Springs this weekend during Round 4 of the Global Time Attack Pro-Am by Shift-S3ctor! Luckily it was uneventful just needed a lot of dusting and vacuuming afterwards lol. This is the result of not expecting a Pirelli World Challenge Audi R8 to blast past you into turn 9.
Ended up taking 2nd in Enthusiast RWD, fastest lap for me was a 1:40:58
Tried using an external mic, still not great but keep in mind it was really windy this past weekend (most I can recall in past year or two I've been at this track).
But I think it sounds better than this video which is same track but without the use of an external mic.

It's bad to have the windows down and it hardly makes sense from a safety point of view. If you happen to flip over you could lose your arm or worse
