Here's my last video of the Cortina from that weekend. It's the larger rear view of my IMSA reunion race, my best session of the weekend. If you want to switch back and forth between front and rear views, I have a link on each of these new videos to do that!
Interested in vintage cars? Ever thought about racing one?

DE at Laguna Seca with CCA, Golden Gate Chapter. One of my rare track days when I didn't go off track at all, just dropped 2 wheels off once. Instructor must have been keeping me on track! We had A/B combined because there were few A students and many (two run groups) of D students. I feel like I was a little faster than at O-fest but the A students and instructors make me look and feel quite slow out there.
Last 2.5 laps of session 2. Passed an instructor in a red Acura NSX but only because he backed off and let me pass. 6 minutes length
Entire session 4, last session of the day for the A/B group. Got passed by every instructor and all the fast students it seemed. 23 minutes length.
From C group at Barbers. Guy in a 993 was nice enough to upload video with me in it. Not my first time at Barbers, but my first time in a high HP RWD car. Turn those speakers up for the pass at the beginning

Road Atlanta with NASA last weekend. First lap after passing the miata is a 1:40.1 going way too slow through T1. After that I put a clip in from sunday, going through T1 at proper pace. Never got a clean lap on sunday, but I think it would have been well down in the 1:39's on worn out old NT01's. Flat through T12 and flat through the esses after T3. It was a blast - highly recommend this track. Was only $399 with NASA.

Porsche Club at Thunderbolt yesterday. First time ever with a fixed back seats and 6pt (that I finished installing like 3 days ago)... it was lovely. In hindsight I should have looked at my new camera angle before I went out and raised it... o well.
And another little gem from Thursday:

Few laps around the newly opened Thompson Speedway from this past weekend with NASA.
There is really nothing to compare it against. T1-T2 are similar to summit Main T1-T2. Other than that its a pretty unique track.
As far as what I thought... the track is very green. The asphalt was coming up in a lot of spots and you could tell it wasn't put down well. I had chunks of asphalt on the inside of all my wheels and calipers. There was virtually no entrance/exit curbing. There was apex curbing, but it was mostyy unusable. It is also really narrow in some spots and there isn't much run off.
At first I didn't think it had a rhythm but it definitely does. I think once they get a better seal on the asphalt and do the enter/exit curbing it will be better.
Here are some videos from my first two events of the Ontario Time Attack series - this was the first weekend with my new aero package, flares,9.5" ARC8s, and RS-3 V.2's. The result was absolutely awesome, setting new class records and winning my class and overall(PAX) on both days.
For some reason the file is corrupted and there is some weird effects that happen throughout the video but there is enough good footage that isn't affected.
Been looking for a more active track section than the one on M3Forum - glad I decided to check here!
Always looking for tips and feedback from others on how and where I can be quicker and smoother. I think my Hankook RS3s are on the way out. The PCA event I ran at NJMP last week marked the 7th event I've run on them. Am considering trying out NT01s or even some BFG R1 take offs - any thoughts?
here are two of my final sessions - one from Lightning (best lap of 1:17.58), one from Tbolt (best lap of 1:35.68). Was only my second time on Lightning, but definitely starting to learn where I can be faster.

Took my daily driver original owner '99 M3 out of track retirement because I did not want to miss the opportunity to drive at the first ever HPDE at Circuit Of The Americas (COTA).
Video starts with in car view of driver/window, another lap from the driver's view, a news story of the event (@16:55), then videos from friends that were also there.
I have a few more track related vids on my YouTube page (TWS - track closing and my Track spin compilation video):
