All instructors had 1 full-time student. Some instructors had a student plus 1 check-out ride. I had 1 intermediate student, whom I signed-off to solo after the second session on Sunday. Friday was open track for all instructors and solo drivers. No students on Friday. There was plenty of track time for those instructors who took advantage of Friday open-track.
The organizers were also flexible on Saturday/Sunday for instructors to go-out in non-instructor sessions. You just had to ask nicely. Personally, I had no need due to Fridays available track time.
There was a lot of traffic in the instructor group, but that's what makes it fun for me. Good dicing, lots of passing, no extended trains. The flow was good. I enjoyed the event very much. Going back next month for the Patroon event.
Sounds as though you got lucky with only one intermediate student. I seem to recall in the instructor meeting they said if your student wasn't ready to be solo'd when he got there, this wasn't the event it was going to happen. In other words, don't try and sign your student off. Glad to hear they loosened the rules a little, especially about letting instructors run in other run groups. Maybe I'll reconsider the August event.

Here is a little wet & dry session from Shenandoah with RTR PCA. The event wasn't very well subscribed, so not much traffic.
It started to pour for the last instructor session. Since they didn't allow us to use the skid pad I decided to slide around the track instead, lol.
From last weekend with MFBA @ Road America. I was instructing for the weekend so I had to turn laps in whatever run group I could, I think this was group B.
Got a good chance to work with the dual m/c set-up and get pretty comfortable with the brakes. I could go really deep into turn 5 and turn 8 if I trail-braked a bit and that was pretty fun!
Fast forward to about 3 minutes

^ nice vid, looks like a fun track. I am heading up there for the first time in july with NASA.
Couldn't make your timer out, what kind of lap times were you doing?
LRP is definitely some rollercoaster fun. Best lap following that GTR was a 1:04.4. Not terrible for a full-weight M3 with just suspension, Z2s, and pads. However, I also only have ~1.5 summers on track and I very much like driving my car home intact at the end of the weekend
A more experienced less pansy driver could easily have my car into the low 1:03s if not better im sure.

The Jefferson 500 at Summit Point went great this year, and we have a lot of video to show for it! It'll be slow going putting it all together, but this was my first event with front and rear cameras! Here is the first pair of videos, leave some feedback if you think I can improve the layout or something!
Front View
Rear View
This was my first session, and each following one gets a bit quicker! Stay tuned!

Well, I was at Summit and you were at CMP, but it looks like both videos were taken Friday afternoon. I suppose I should have said "on tracks."

Here's the front view of the Friday enduro; it's full of action, with cars around me almost every lap! A great use of the new front-rear dual view! The rear view is uploading now and should be done tonight. As always, comments and tips are welcome!

Figured I'd post this up - second event in the car, first event since I got fed up with the garbage stock shifter and put the AKG solid race unit in. The balance of the car right now is a little.. iffy. Steady state understeer, snappy trail brake oversteer.
Car is on 17x9 D-forces, 255 NT01's, TC Kline revalved Koni's 600/700 springs, Hawk DTC-70's. Gutted, caged. 2600 pounds empty.
Go buy an AKG shifter. Right meow.

Rear view for the enduro is finished! There's one more session to upload, and according to people around the pit lane including event Grand Marshal John Morton, it was my most exciting drive! Stay tuned!

This is a totally home grown machine, first runs of the year on new tires.
The car is a 1997 328is with a Ford Racing SB 306, Tremec 5sp....and lots of other mods.
This was my best session of the weekend, and probably my fastest ever! I started on pole in the IMSA under 2.5L reunion race filled with 2002s, Pintos, Alfa GTVs and GTAs, Minis, and the fastest 2L Fiat 124 Coupe I've ever seen. I definitely pushed a bit harder this session and cut a further half second off my best time!

First crack at using Race Render with my GoPro video and Traqmate data.
Here are two from this past weekend at Barber with Heart of Dixie chapter.
In this video I miss a shift, then turn my fastest lap of the weekend trying to catch back up. Unfortunately the session ends in a black flag from a two car incident.
This is the next session. No missed shifts.
By the last session my camera over heated and stopped working.

That's a pretty hilarious wing on that GT-R in the first video. Barber looks like an interesting track, I've never seen it before. What type of camera are you using? I've never heard of one overheating.
