1:21.7 x2 and a 1:22.0, in that order. Now to learn how to go faster.
Super hot yesterday, started the day at 85*F @ 8am. Was a lot more aggressive with the gas, which is good but scrubbed too much speed over braking. Something to work on.

For some reason I always go faster when I’m not “trying”.

So, as I'm trying to get faster with my performance driving hobby I like to fail. I like to fail often and hard. All the while hopefully not at the cost of money (too much lol) or injury to myself and others. Part of this process includes making mistakes, learning from them and growing.
Here's a catalog of mistakes I made at my last track event. While some of the video is obvious, other parts may not necessarily be to the untrained eye.
Either way, I hope you enjoy it!

Harry’s LapTimer says my virtual best for the weekend was 1:19.19. How do I get that in real life!... 🤦🏻*♂️

Couple hours at Hallet. Still trying to get the camera to record full races.
Here is a video of my race at Daytona international speedway for the sarrc championship race. Had a great battle against another e36 and a e46.

So jealous you’ve already gotten 2 events in. My first track day is this coming weekend Mar 7th.

Nice! What's the total car weight? How much fuel? How many HC are you getting out of your RE71Rs?
Great seeing you out there and getting after it!
2970lbs with 175lbs driver and 3/4 tank of gas. Full setup sheet in my build thread. RE71Rs don’t heat cycle in my experience. Tread squirm for the first couple sessions. Then they will last approx 4 weekends or 8 days or 32 sessions, however you count.
