Notes: The driveshaft is going bad on this car. There is a significant clunk which is probably coming from the splines or u-joint, so I was nursing the shifts and not shifting to second to shock the driveline more.

Notes: New personal best! I can't think of a better way to wrap up my season than with a new PB! While I had a 57 in mind, I still managed to eek out a 1:58.55 which is an improvement for me. The weekend was filled with a lot of driving growth and I actually attribute that to pushing myself at SoW and CVR. I found the slower speeds of SoW allowed me to get comfortable with being more aggressive overall and CVR got me really comfortable with the sensation of speed.

I'll upload a proper video later once I get the data overlay going, but here's a quick video of me chasing my buddy in his GT350. He's on Michelin scrub slicks and has like 525hp. My car was on Nexen Sport R 200TW and has 385hp.

Notes: First track day of my season which runs September to April allowed me to knock off some of that rust! Mostly a shakedown after the new exhaust, headers and tune. Weather was pretty toasty, with the first two sessions being reasonable for late summer. Managed to almost put down a flat 2:00 which isn't great based on my usual 1:58s but hey, it was a great day even though my radiator died in the third session. Got it replaced and back in the next day to wrap up a couple more sessions. There's a video for that as well.

Notes: This was day two of my "season opener" with Speed Ventures (my season is September to April) and the fourth session of the day. I ended up missing the first two thanks to my OEM Behr radiator failing in the afternoon the day before. Thanks to my buddy John Lee who was driving up the next day, he was able to bring me a radiator allowing me to run the second day. After looking back, this is my fourth time running Buttonwillow CCW and my second ever with the #13 sweeper configuration. I managed to put down a lukewarm 2:06.15 which was about 6s slower than the day before going the opposite direction. It's clear I have considerably more experience running this track CW. 🤣🔥🐝

Notes: Had a blast pushing the killa bee at Buttonwillow Raceway Park! No new PB but was very consistent with my @nexentireusa Sport R and managed to put down 1:59s each session in 80*F ambient, which was a win for me.

Notes: Exactly one year later I went back to Street of Willow at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, California. No PB this time, but almost matched my old time by 0.09 of a second. This is my third time running this track Streets of Willow in the CCW configuration with Extreme Speed. First time running the Nexen Sport R tires on this track. I'm ready to watch some videos of faster guys to try and crack into the 1:23s.
