First HPDE of the year for me in my e36. I did a bunch of M3 upgrades over the off-season. M3 calipers, rotors, guns, spindles, bearings, bumper, etc, new front LCA's, Z3 steering rack and Sparco wheel, also a Hard Motorsports brake duct kit. CSR has been transformed and drives so much better!

Had a great day at Laguna Seca last Sunday.
First time back in five years and only my second time at this track. I spent a lot of time focusing on driving at Buttonwillow to work on being consistent. I think all of my practice has paid off, as I beat the time I put down in my old evo by two seconds.

I was at Laguna Seca yesterday. '95 M3 with naturally aspirated S50 trying to chase down a Camaro ZL1. Frustrating watching him just rocket away on the straights, but that's the fun of driving a low-hp car and trying to keep up
huh, Never really paid attention that this thread existed.
PB 1:46.4 at Mid Ohio (Club) from may with NNJR PCA. 4th event for me.
97 m3. Dinan SC (oldschool Powerdyne), TCK DA's Eibach front sway, DTC60's, 235/40/17 NT05's
Racing with SCCA's Washington D.C. region in their Bracket Improved Touring class. It's a neat concept. Prep level doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is lap time. Go too fast, you move to the next highest bracket. Flag to flag OA win against a much faster car. (that little thing in the mirror).

8 years later since I started the turbo project, finally got the E30 out on Mosport. Still overwhelmed mentally by how incredible it felt but I'm now more sure than ever that with some more seat time and brain adjustment to what the car is capable of, I will hit my goal one day of matching Donohue's best racing lap in the 917/30 of 1:16
Palmer yesterday with Track Night. Lots of cars but still pretty fun. Ran a 1:54. www.e46bmw.com

First time at Roebling a few months ago, best lap was a 1:22.8 in my e36 m3. 3150lbs with me in it, 207 rwhp. Direzza Z3 tires.
Had some good laps and some not so good, but it was nice to have that much runoff room for a change. Included the spins here for fun. Would love some commentary from those of you who have driven it before.

First time back to Thill since 2016 and first time in the E36M. A friend that lives in Reno has been bugging me to hang out and track again, so we met up at Thunderhill for the weekend. Had a great weekend with friends and chasing down much faster cars. Also set a new PB for this configuration.
LRP on 11/10 with scda
was fun while it lasted 1:03.9 was my best with brakes shaking like crazy in 40 deg temp...due to sticking calipers

Not exactly a track day, but does a hilllcimb count? Duryea Hillclimb 2018, '97 M3 with LS3/T56. 504rwhp/464tq, 2670lb without me in it. Hard to tell in video but still a good amount of wet spots, taking it pretty easy in places.

Hey Kevin!
Look at you killin’ it out there! That’s awesome man, four second improvement after we spoke. Well done!
Video looks great, line looks clean and you handled those corrections smoothly and with ease.
Much respect, man. Now we gotta do a 2:04.xx!
It was nice to meet you and I’m glad you were able to push yourself further.
See you soon!
Haha yeah! Feels amazing pushing it out there and getting those times. luckily I saw your lines and like hmmm, this seems a lot better...LOL
I’ll be running nt01’s Or RE71r’s. Everyone is saying I should shave a few seconds off with better tires.
I was running low on funds cause of the holidays and didn’t wanna put it on a CC, so I ran my lowwww treaded Nt05’s Up front and federal 595rr’s in the rear (that’s why I had the OEM wheels on at the rear, lol)
so hopefully I’m a lot closer to the flat 2’s!
Ill see you out there soon. I’ll let you know when the next run will be, might be next month.
take care!
