Castro motorsport is closing its doors to the public till july 1, 2013

Just saw this on their Facebook page:

*** BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! ***

CASTRO MOTORSPORT IS OFFICIALLY CLOSING OUR DOORS TO NEW BUSINESS/CUSTOMERS UNTIL JULY 1, 2013.

We've been given an amazing opportunity to build 6 M3s for a special individual, which will start in June and we also have other projects that need to be finished.

We'd like to thank everyone for your continued support and your business. We will be back this summer bigger and better then ever, with some new products that we're launching and some exciting builds we're finishing.

Chris (AKA Polak) will still keep our Facebook page and the forum threads current. We will also be focusing a great deal on our website in this time.

congrats on the new opportunity! only thing that sucks is that I was planning on bringing the 328 back in for some full bolt on action. July 1st it is then!

Can't wait for the shop to re-open! Need my FCABs replaced, minor oil pan leak fixed, and upper power steering hoses replaced......

Oh, here is the info on Frank Ocean. I wonder if the N. Hollywood shop mentioned is Castro's

A few updates...

2 Maximum PSI E46 M3 turbo kits are on their way to CA today for the Laguna Seca E46 M3, and the Alpine White M3

More parts and materials for the S52 turbo E30 M3 and another turbo E36 M3 we're building came in, so Chris and the guys got to work:

This is awesome. Huge fan on Frank Ocean and his music. I always thought he was cool when I first read an interview talking about how he had a poster of an E30 M3 on his wall that he used as inspiration... which obviously led to the orange E30 on his mixtape cover.

2 Maximum PSI/Nick G. E46 M3 turbo kits installed in 3 days! These kits are really awesome! We can't wait to get the DMEs back from Nick, throw these 2 cars on the dyno and go for a test drive!

So a few parts came in for the projects, mainly from BMW NA:

Hmm...what do we have here?

Oh that's right, it's one of the OEM CSL seats - he bought 2 full sets front and rear!

It's like XMAS in May - what's in this box?

Oh it's just one of the 12 OEM CSL wheels he bought!

A couple brand new E30 dashes that are being wrapped and stitched in leather this week

Oh and 3 brand new M-tech 2 steering wheels

Frank also went with big brakes on all the cars. Here's the s52 turbo E30 M3 we built sporting the Wilwood 6 piston front, and 4 piston rear kit.

Here are a few shots I took of the cars yesterday. All 5 cars are pretty much complete mechanically, waiting on a few sets of wheels to be refinished, interior is being installed, and sound systems as well.

My former S54 swapped E30 M3, which I sold to him, and Jon Grigg's (Mr. Wiggles) former Hennarot S52 E30 M3, now with a custom 470whp turbo set-up!

One of the 2 Maximum PSI/Nick G. (of Technique Tuning) Stage 1 factory ECU, turbocharged E46 M3s, sporting Mason Engineering's new E46 M3 strut brace!
