looks nice. i use to have a schwartz 325i and always loved how deep the black is compared to cosmos on the M3s.
Try to find these badges. it would go well with your car.

Mines actually supposed to be cosmos, but it's been repainted the wrong color before I bought it. I considered the m technic badges, but liked the clubsport badges more

using a holden commodore bottle hidden behind the bumper, didnt like the crappy white bottle hanging around in the bay. need to switch it out for a genuine smg m3 washer bottle one day.

so i realised today, that its been exactly 12 months since i completed the motor swap, in that year ive put over 20,000km on it, had a few ups and downs, but i dont regret one single minute!!

also, im building a csl style airbox from carbon fibre, using the oem csl filter

Nice work so far, how difficult is it to build carbon fiber pieces? Is it something that can be mastered over a summer?

yeh probably. im using a lost foam method for building mine, which means wrapping over foam, and dissolving the foam later on. since its a one off, destroying the mould doesnt matter. but i think it will take more work to get a nice flat finish

its really nice to work with, im using 2x2 twill weave, and it shapes to most curves without much work, some bits i had to cut to get where i wanted, but will try and cover those join areas with the next layers. i managed to wrap the whole box with one sheet, minus one patch i had to add because i cut wrong, and ended up with a small gap :p

if you've ever used fibreglass, its much nicer to use than the chopped mat fibreglass, which is all ive used before this.

once im finished, i'll throw up a bunch of pictures i took as i went

love love the car but the style of wheels just don't fit the car in my book, or at least square 17x9 or17x10 with 255's

i like the wheels, but the past week have been looking for something else, possibly 3 piece 5 spoke. not sure what i want though. im waiting on new coilovers to arrive, so need to wait for them so i can do some measuring and check clearances to work out what i can fit in the front. think id struggle with 10s in the front though. maybe 9s

any ideas on wheel styles? ive also been considering getting new lips/barrels for my simmons and making them fit with proper tyres, but i think im over the mesh and multi spoke wheels for the moment

    crappy photoshop i did

yeh the fikse look nice, i like the hidden hardware look on them, fun bits buying them being in aus, anything over $1000au and we get stung with import taxes. that and i dnt want to spend a fortune :p

bar the hidden bolts, theyre very similar to the aus made simmons fr17s, which ive been looking to snavel a cheap set, because i can get barrels and lips made locally fairly cheap

might have to throw my simmons up for sale and see if i get any bites

since the rain is coming, i made the decision to swap out the alpinas with the federal rs-r's for a more suitable tyre.

wasnt sure how the falken ze912s would sit on the bbs, but they fit rather well
