Very nice, love the CSL trunk
so body is done for the most part. theres lots of little things to tick off the list to get it back up to par, but im extremely happy with the look. need to sort the camber and height, but its not far off.
onto some pics, my mate rushed these before we ran out of sun. hopefully have some more pics in a few weeks
motorsport hardware badges. super happy with these
my diy carbon foglight duct, had my mate 2k clear it while the car was getting done. not bad for a diy i think. currently its useless, but will feed the pod filter when the supercharger goes back on
this was a joke/stir/whatever between mates. i actually think its pretty cool. theres one on each side of the roof spoiler, it really pops in the sun, and almost hides in the shade
i put on my new retrimmed mtech2 wheel, much nicer than the old 3 spoke i had on
also unbolted the rear shocks and dropped the rear as low as i could(onto my mates jack and dented my spare wheel area lol) to check clearance around the fenders.
tyre hits the metal on the front edge at the door strip before it hits fender, this may change when i dial out some of the camber. rear didnt hit anything, but would hit bumper edge first
oh, for those that will probably ask, wheels are simmons LE, 17x8.5 et13 225/45 continentals, 17x9.75 et9 255/40 continentals

Car looks pretty sick
How wide are the rear tires?
That looks awesome, wow!

Loving the new look!
sick!
So when do I get to see this in person!
Looks absolutely perfect, mate.
What's with the MPH instrument cluster? Was the car an import?
yeh the csl is always gonna be a love/hate thing, especially being an e46 item.
i was getting a bit bored of the ltw rep i had, and didnt think itd suit the overall look of the car. id also had a carbon stick on csl spoiler a few years ago and loved it(til it was destroyed by a truck!!), so decided to go blended this time round.
im so happy to be able to roll on my simmons again, theyve been sitting in the shed for about 3 years just waiting for the right time!!
Amazing work mate. Worth the wait. Looks aggressive but in a subtle and menacing way. Would love to see it in the metal. Also liking the meaty fit on the simmos.
I'd be getting a nice ceramic coating on the paint once it's hardened and can be corrected.
I just read the whole topic, fantastic! I confess I was not expecting this result ... I'm not big wide body fan, but hell ... all car was taken to the extreme, so congratulations for that
cheers guys!
so yesterday i tackled one of the big things that were needed after the widebody kit, inner guard liners.
we were left with a decent amount of space between the fender skin and original sheet metal, so i got to hacking up some old kia liners dad kept for me for the rear, and modified new oem fronts
onto the somewhat dreadful pics. iphone doesnt like taking photos of black plastic in low light!
this was part way through modifying the fronts
this is drivers front(looking towards back of car), can actually see the line where the old liner sat. only needed some minor trimming and new screw holes to get the fronts fitting reasonably well
and looking forward. theres a few gaps around the bumper, but its better than what used to be there!
drivers rear, looking back. probably couldve cleaned some dirt off the liner but eh it works. sikaflexed a strip of rubber c channel to the fender which the liner slots into, and screwed to chassis. simple but effective.
and passengers rear, this was the first one i did. its a little wonky, but still seals.
played with the height while car was in the air, dropped rear some more and raised front a bit. overall the car sits much nicer i think. still need to dial out a bit more camber in the front
(this pic the rears sitting up a bit)
the simmons are pretty much a perfect fit. just need bigger inner barrels oneday
overall ive taken out a bit over 1 deg camber all round, so with another alignment i should be getting a bit more life out of my tyres too!!
What a read! Great thread, amazing transformations! Love how the car was before but I the wide body is the coolest Way to go man can't wait to see more
Wow man beautiful car

Saw this beast in person yesterday.
Photos don't do it justice.
Oh definitely, I want to widen my barrels, then squeeze a wider tyre in(sometime, got loads of other things to spend money on first)
Main problem is rolling diameter, too tall and it's gonna rub the front edge of the arch/fender depending on offset

have some pics from downshift meet on sunday
It's been rad following this cars progression all of these years and seeing you always push the envelope on the e36! Looks terrific!
