Yup I don't know of many e85 stations here. Crazy #'s - are you snapping driveshafts yet?

Yes and on less power than on on that graph, I installed a dss unit and it helped a lot , but now it's on to the next weakest link.

Might have missed it but what size fitting/line are you using off the return side of the rally road fuel rail?

I use a -8 O-Ring to -10 AN with a 90 degree (very tight) fitting. From there it -10 to the regulator and -8 to the tank.

If I do it again, I'd just come off with a -8 adapter off the rail.

The original plan was to feed from the rear, but it was just too restrictive for my liking with the adapter.

I took a video of the car running and the amazing sounds the transmission was making:

    http://instagram.com/p/jRtzBjIg4v/

It's hard to video, but the transmission at idle was so loud that it sounded like rod bearing knock.

Gentlemen, I present you 3rd gear!

On Saturday, before getting stupidly sick until now, I ripped out the old transmission and got the new (used) one almost in. As part of this adventure, I disassembled the twin disc to inspect. It looks good so far with minimal hot spots.

Another thing is that the transmission seal (in bell housing) was leaking. The bell housing was wet with fluid.

I'm hoping that someone reading this has the original thickness measurements of the UUC provided clutch discs as I can't find mine.

The clutches, as removed, measured 7.99mm flywheel clutch and 7.87mm pressure plate clutch. Since I had it apart, I cleaned everything with brake parts cleaner and rotated the clutches. It makes sense to me the pressure plate clutch would be the one most worn.

I'm hoping that this Saturday I can button it back up and move it around again.

Haha damn and I thought my 3rd gear was bad..

I'm definitely interested to know what that clutch starts out at as well as I'll be buying a used one soon and would love to know just how used it is. It's too bad UUC doesn't list that on their site

    Carnage!

Can't wait until you button her back up and the temps go up so we can see some video of you ripping her around.
Where have I been? Astral projecting.

You haven't even seen this car in person. Pics don't do it justice. Amazing. The car is so clean and it is fully set up as a daily driver with such a clean stock interior along with chilling stock A/C system. Just an incredible ride.

    nice!

If your M3 doesn’t have 3 pedals and 2 doors, I would really consider contacting BMW to confirm the authenticity of your incorrectly badged mid-sized family sedan.

I will just go ahead and put this here:
