Might have missed it but what size fitting/line are you using off the return side of the rally road fuel rail?
I use a -8 O-Ring to -10 AN with a 90 degree (very tight) fitting. From there it -10 to the regulator and -8 to the tank.
If I do it again, I'd just come off with a -8 adapter off the rail.
The original plan was to feed from the rear, but it was just too restrictive for my liking with the adapter.
I took a video of the car running and the amazing sounds the transmission was making:

It's hard to video, but the transmission at idle was so loud that it sounded like rod bearing knock.
Gentlemen, I present you 3rd gear!
On Saturday, before getting stupidly sick until now, I ripped out the old transmission and got the new (used) one almost in. As part of this adventure, I disassembled the twin disc to inspect. It looks good so far with minimal hot spots.
Another thing is that the transmission seal (in bell housing) was leaking. The bell housing was wet with fluid.
I'm hoping that someone reading this has the original thickness measurements of the UUC provided clutch discs as I can't find mine.
The clutches, as removed, measured 7.99mm flywheel clutch and 7.87mm pressure plate clutch. Since I had it apart, I cleaned everything with brake parts cleaner and rotated the clutches. It makes sense to me the pressure plate clutch would be the one most worn.
I'm hoping that this Saturday I can button it back up and move it around again.
Haha damn and I thought my 3rd gear was bad..
I'm definitely interested to know what that clutch starts out at as well as I'll be buying a used one soon and would love to know just how used it is. It's too bad UUC doesn't list that on their site
Spent the better part of the day reading this whole thread... Pretty epic read, you should consider publishing it, lol. Props on the build, very cool and impressive stuff. In for future news and updates.
so....when's the next autocross?
Until I have a bit more time for a more in-depth update ... (maybe tomorrow)
Yeehaawwww!!!
That is all.
Awesome, for some reason I had visions of being in my dentists chair.
that's more like it.
I will just go ahead and put this here:
"I live my life a quarter mile at a time, nothing else matters. Not the mortgage, not the store, not the team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less.... I'm free"
Yeah Jonathan you freaking stud you!
I am sorry that you didn't have parts flying all the way back to Virginia...I know how much you wanted that to happen.
