Wow, after the abuse that clutch took last June I'm glad to hear it's holding up so well. What an impressive clutch!
I will say this clutch definitely gets my stamp of approval 100%. I'm far from easy on it and won't be disappointed when I do need to finally replace the discs. There is very minimal wear on the pressure plate, flywheel, and floater which is great!
Just another reason I'm happy to have UUC as one of my new business vendors! Can't wait to get these clutches in the hands of those who need them.
^ I'll definitely be needing one!
When you are ready, shoot me an email over to jonathan@thayermotorsports.com - I'll take care of you!
I get a load of random questions, so I'm going to make a better effort to put answers here for public view later ...
Absolutely no need to reweld. Drill and use a bolt and nut. The rest of the bumper horn mounts have the same design. Just easier for the factory to spot weld a couple of places.I was reading through your post (every death there is a birth) looking at your documentation of the removal on the core support. I am about to do one myself and was told I would need to re-weld when it is replaced. Is that correct? Did you weld it back into place? It was left out of the thread when you did the reassembly.
Thanks for the help! Sweet Mcoupe too if you still have it.
It's been too long. Love the evolution of mindy. Ignoring the crowds in seeking ones own perfect car, epic. It's great to see a prominent contributor here embracing rltc. It's added enjoyment, safety, and performance to my coupe experience. Nice work. True dedication.
