You're gonna like the intake manifold. Just put one on my 540/6; it is more noticeable(gear-wise) than going to the 3.15:1 lsd from 2.93. An installation tip; secure the injectors to the fuel rail before installing onto the manifold. There is a bump in ignition timing from a DUDM chip.
I had an upholstery shop shave the center foam on my sport seat; it fits my 6'4" frame better but still isn't as comfortable as the e30 m3 sport seats that I had in a previous e34. Don't know why the camera makes the seats look 2 tone; they're not.

They actually look good two tone like that. Now to find some good shocks for it and I can start actually doing stuff.

nice, I remember this thread when you got it, jealous very nice find.

dang I've been looking for used vogtlands nice, I decided they sounded like the best for the application, not to much drop or harsh.

I thought vogtlands had a very aggressive drop?

I was gonna go Vogtland and Konis but it was about the same price as my coilovers. Eibachs are too stiff and Vogtlands are progressive which is really neat.

I drove it for the first time in over two months on New Years. Always a blast but I am now officially tired of the crappy ride. So I have finally come into some extra cheese so I can start really working on this thing. Ordered all new control arms, bushings, shock mounts, CSB/guibo, steering components, and anything else I can think of that needs replacing. Going to order shocks on Monday and go from there. Going to go with Koni so it's done and I do not have to mess with it anymore. Mpars and M System II's are going to get refinished and if there are any bends those will be fixed. Wheel options are nice

Since I am doing the shocks, any recommendations on what I should replace with the assemblies? The only suspension work I have really done is control arms and crap like that, never had to do shocks until now. I found some low mileage assembles with newer wheel bearings I plan on using. I've also read somewhere there are certain spring pads that I can use with the Vogtlands that work better.

And for those who have been telling me to fix my throwing stars, they are finally going to get fixed

A little late, but just check out realOEM. Bump stops, spring pads, mounts. The big mounting bolts for the rear shocks.. though it looks like you may have gotten most of that already

Thanks. I still have some stuff to order since I forgot a few things on the last order. Those will go on the current order I have going. Any specific spring pad?

No problem man. I just went with stock pads, though I think some use slightly thinner M5 pads(?) I kind of wish I'd have gone entirely without up front for a little more rake. I also got new nuts for the mounts, which was good, since I dropped TWO down in to the rear. Luckily they seem to have lodged themselves in to where they don't jingle around anymore lol. Also, for the rears, I replaced #2

    So #'s 10 (just in case), 8, 7, 3, 2, 12, 13, 15 and 16.

    And below, #'s 6, 5(*), 4, 8, 3 9, 10 and 12

    * I don't remember ordering #5. IDK if I missed it, or what, so not sure on this one

    Shocks questions

I have ordered pretty much every suspension nut, bolt, and part you can think of and now it is time for shocks. I have been tossing up the idea of getting Koni's or going back with Bilstein sports. I will be running Vogtland springs. I have read that Bilstein's like to bottom out but I also heard that Koni's need to be rebuilt after 20k miles?? That true? I was running Bilstein sports with B&G springs (1.4" drop front and back, progressive springs) and never had these bottom out. They actually rode great and I was more than happy with that setup. Just wanting some suggestions.

I do not plan on tracking this car at all, just want it to ride right.

Not that it may not be the case, but that's the first I've heard about rebuilding Konis. I have heard first hand, as well as read here, that vogtlands/billy sports ride like ass.

Crazy I know. I heard that from a local indy that is well known around Atlanta and does excellent work.

More parts came in the mail today.

    Also ordered this:

I got this so I can have oil pressure (most important), oil temp, and voltage. I may do one of those dual gauges with water temp and voltage in one. The one I found is pricey but is nice. I plan on moving the ASC button to where the EDC switch is. Not a huge priority right now. Suspension crap first.
