Mounted some new conti extreme contact dw tires to my esm lm reps the other day but got the spacers from njmarro today (great to deal with) and put them on. Fitment is pretty awesome for daily driving with no rubbing Issues. specs are 235/40/18 on 18x9 all around et 40 front and et30 rear. Will be purchasing some spacers for the front probably just 5mm. Now i need to swap the spring shock combo for coilovers to go moar loww....Ill try to upload pics later not sure how to upload since I'm on mobile and to tired to search.

Tackled the Control Arm Bushings a couple of days ago. Car feels a lot more stable, now. The bushings were very shot, I can say that the suspension refresh is slowly coming along.

Which ones did you go with, just new OEMs or an aftermarket performance bushing of some sort?

Today I got my oil service kit from ECS in the mail. The oil change went smoothly this time unlike the first change with the stripped drain plug thread in the oil pan... 5,650 mile since I got it back from the dealer with the new pan and oil in December and 3 track events I am sending in an oil sample to Blackstone for analysis. Fingers crossed for a clean bill of health related to the rod bearing.

Sprayed wd40 into the rear light cluster connection to stop the dreaded fast flash. Works perfectly now! But really need to do the extra earth wire mod

I was looking for one, was going to purchase one from http://www.pfjones.co.uk/tow-bars/bm...1999-2005.html or ebay.uk and have it shipped to my cousin in the UK, she was then going to ship it to me.

Then I stumbled across one listed on e46f, it was actually in stock from this place http://www.oemplus.com/ in Cali. The shop shipped it to me and it's brand new in the box for less than getting it shipped from the UK. I'm stoked because now I can pull one of my motorcycles with a borrowed Kendon trailer.

    BSW speaker install.

Didn't really get to listen to it. I'll do that tomorrow.

Please provide your review, I've been on the fence about BSW for 2 yrs. Mainly because I trust no opinion regarding our E46s...'cept you and a few others.

Being completely honest, I can't tell much of a difference. Highs are a bit better and also a little bit clearer. If I didn't tell anyone, anyone who has been in my car before and after probably wouldn't know any difference. I only installed the front 6 speakers though (tweeter, midrange & midbass for each door). I figured it'd be a waste of time to install the rears since I can barely tell a difference in the front, so I listed 2 midranges FS already on E46F.

I guess something to note here though would be that my stock HK speakers were in 100% perfect shape; No tears or anything. I'm sure that to someone with torn or blown speakers, the differences would be more apparent. I know that upgrading the headunit is where more noticeable change comes into play... even with stock speakers.

Put the summer tires and rims back on and changed the T-case oil, man was it black! Put in fresh Pentosin MTF.

Gave away my BMWs, driving a VW and an Audi now.

Today, I went to an advanced driving school and absolutely had a blast. I learned a lot and found I need better summer tires because they got pretty slick and I would like to upgrade my brakes.

Did the valve cover gasket and changed the oil on my sister's E46.

And found out it needs a windshield cowl and a cabin air filter.

I bought them off of a local member. I believe he got them off of AutohausAZ. I think they are the Meyle HDs. I got them for a good price.

I replaced a tube for my secondary air system that had a massive hole in it and replaced a coil pack that went bad causing a really rough ride, oh and my air box tube(that also had a big hole in it). All in all, a pretty good day. I took it out and it feels so much better now!!

Now I just need to order the parts to fix that darn sunroof shade..

Found out I had a leak in the diff cover. De-greased everything and drove around for a day. Found a small leak through one of the bolts. I realized that to take the diff cover off, I would need to support the diff body and remove the mount bolt and possibly the sway-bar, so I said f-it, pulled the bolt out, covered it in RTV, and stuck it back in. Time will tell if it continues to leak or not.

Oh, and I also installed two new speakers in the front doors. Been meaning to do a writeup on those as well.

The dumb thing is that if I had thought of this to begin with, I wouldn't have drained the diff oil, or even had to. I had planned on checking it when I leave work. Fingers crossed!
