I yelled at it for leaving me stranded !!
Ordered an A/C belt tensioner in the hopes it's that pulley, and not the compressor clutch itself, that it the source of my "supercharger" whine.
Replaced a rocker panel cover clip that broke a while ago.
gave it a wash yesterday, than it snowed this morning LOL.

Installed a new water pump on Saturday. Pretty simple. Original one at 171k was in perfect shape. Ryansser can vouch for it.
Next up is front struts in a couple of weeks. Car is driving so much nicer after replacing my front control arms, bushings, and inner/outer tie rods.
Also gonna replace my calipers and rotors as well.
Not today, but just had this done last week:
New lower control arms and bushings
New radiator
New right rear brake hose
Oil change
Started the detailing of the interior this weekend as well. And ordered new center console WITHOUT the armrest and new rubber floormats.
Still need to do though:
Valve Cover Gasket
Spark plugs
Power Steering hose leaking
Giubo
And thus begins my introduction into the BMW world. Just bought a 2000 323i with 130k miles a week ago
Took my car to get inspected today..... and FAILED!!! Just my luck. I failed for a leak at the power steering(which ive never noticed, and have never had to fill in the year ive owned it) and he said my tint is too dark. It was measured to be 26%. Legal is 32%. Wtf.... there are plenty of SUVs rolling around with darker factory tint! Now I have to ask around and find a place that will pass it... no way I'm taking it off!!!
Last week I learned about the 'standing lights', wife called to ask me why the corner and tail light was on on just the drivers side. After she got it off I remembered reading about somewhere. Anyone know how long it will stay on, till the battery goes dead? Washed it Sat. night and it snowed on Sun.
Yeah, I'm planning on having it checked when they do the giubo. I believe they inspected it and didn't see any issues when I had the PPI done on it. They definitely nitpicked very well during that...and I'd asked them to check that. I'm going to ask and try to talk to them again about it.
Did a muffler delete over the weekend. Now my car sounds properly mean, I've turned so many heads recently LOL
Looking forward to finishing my complete detail of the ///M this friday.
I'll be doing:
-Clay Bar
-Megiuars 105 Ultra Cut Compound
-Megiuars 205 Ultra Finishing Polish
-Wolfgang's Ultimate Sealant 3.0
-NXT Synthetic Wax
I did the front end and roof over the weekend, so I really only have half of the car left to do.
Just loaded her unto a flatbed...now shes off to the dealer for a new tranny....after the 4th time .....happy b day to me
installed rear left shock mount, stopped when i saw that i should've ordered bump stops, too. ordered bump stops and then also rear sway bar bushings and rear end links. fuck pelican having to special order them
Rebuilding the VANOS , changing coils 2 and 6 including plugs and installing a new VCG....and whatever else comes along...
Ordered a new center console.
Today I day dreamed a little about me finally getting to put my summer tires/wheels on.
....Just got to get a little bit warmer so I know no more snow is coming
Just swapped out the front endlinks to some Meyle HD endlinks. Woot!
Easy!
vanos rebuild, vcg, and spark plugs. what a difference
