Well gentlemen, the Leavenworth cruise in in 4 days, and I've not heard much from people about going. I cannot go as my newest daughter was born 2 days ago. Emily Kate Simmons, 7lbs. 13 oz. Happy and healthy little lady.

I would be interested in putting something else together next month. Or maybe get the crew to join in the Detroit Euro Rally that I organize. It's next month. Either way, I would hate to miss seeing you all this year.

    Thoughts?

So guys, how about it? can we start planning something for this spring?

I know i'm being biased here, but I will throw it out here that Amador county, where I live, has some beautiful back roads with very little traffic for white knuckle driving, and highway 88 is a great cruising road with lots of 35 MPH turns, lots of long sweeping 75 MPH turns.... moderate traffic.

Did I mention I am running a small 1bbl brewery? check out the website: www.bulbousbrew.com

There's also a few good places for camping as well. (we did Pipi valley some years ago with the late Bruce Macfarland.) there's also Roaring Camp in Pine Grove, with more trailer/rv/ cabin camping with some gold panning tours as well...

I would be interested, I am not too far away, in Auburn.

Anyone going to Monterey this week? Legends will be fantastic (Friday), and of course the races at Laguna Seca.

I would be interested in meeting e21 folks and cruisin/camping. Long as its within my 200 mile AAA tow range. Just in case. I live in SF/DC area.

Bushings are on their way from Jesse Eurometric. Brakes rebuilt. Exhaust leak fixed. Wedge seat brackets/sliders on their way.

I'll be ready for a shakedown soon.

Depends. Are you proactive about maintenance? Are you aware that these older cars Bmw or not will need more TLC. if you are handy, bmws are great, especially older ones. They're well put together and are very mechanic friendly. Good luck!

I wish I could. I've been so busy with work and other stuff that I haven't touched my E21 in months. I'm down for a road trip when you get back!

The weather is incredible right now. I will have to settle for a trip to south lake instead.

I'd be completely down (in the e46), but I'm currently deployed at a FEMA relief center in TX...
