Recently I purchased http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-O...E:L:OC:US:3160 for my car.
It looked simple, remove the cover, unscrew the screws, swap, and tighten the screws. It was not. Im not a mechanic and I am more than timid to damage this amazing car I find myself driving. Does anyone know how to remove the drivers side "oh shit" bars? they have a contraption securing them in I have never encountered. Multiple Google searches have turned up squat. Any help?

Why not use the sunglass holder that comes in your car? Located to the left of the steering column, under the headlamp switch.
