    Unhappy Engine No-Start

    1995 BMW V8Cyl 4.0. I am going to post events that has happended
    1. Alarm(siren) continous noise (car was running)
    2. Moved car to driveway alarm continued
    3. disconnected battery
    4. key in bad condition AAA tried (no success)
    5. siren coming from rear rt side
    6. tried to start panal says (Key Ingition Lock)
    7. Had new BMW key made(alarm continous go off )
    8. Took to East West Europeon...... Their diagnostics
    9. Replaced faulty EWS module
    10. Coded & programmed EWS via BMW icom 3 g system
    11. DME VIN is not complete/scrambled
    12. Replace DME $1821.93 which is causing the EWS to not align itself(recomends)
    13. Replace General Module $670.05 (recomends)
    14. Reconmend a new battery BMW
    15. Car still will not start was not going to spend $2,500
    16. Have at least 20 pages of Diagnostics Report
    17. Help!!!!!!!

    I'm not sure about these older EWS modules, but did you ever sync the EWS and DME?

    The guy in this video made his cigarette lighter his start button to get around issues like these.

    Yes the EWS and DME where synced, but only 4to 6 numbers from vin# showed the rest where zeros. Cigarette lighter i will show mechanic!

    What is the build date of your car? Also, if you know, does your DME end with 404 or 484?

    Alarm could be caused from low battery voltage. Another common issue that causes this is the hood switch.
