I saw another new member posting about his new purchase so I figured I'll do the same. I just purchased a used Z3 after selling the S2K; the insurance cost on that thing could never ever be justified no matter how fun the car is. Plus it forces me to speed excessively so I had to let it go.
I got the 1.9 for the exact opposite reason why I sold my S2k and now I can finally enjoy a nice rev-less relaxing drive with the top down.
I do not want to any performance mods because well, anything short of FI for the 1.9 is a waste of money in my mind. I may get some eibachs depending on how the Z3 tires wear with lowering. Any suggestions? 1 inch for Honda's does little to the camber for Honda's but I'm not so sure about the Z3. The negative camber is pretty crazy for a stock car already.
I also want a front lip (ACS or OEM) and a rear flushed spoiler. Any suggestions on where to shop? I've checked z3solutions, HMS, Bavauto, pacific, circle, and south. Anywhere else? Ebay doesn't have much either right now.
That's it for now...searching for Z3 related posts are hard because "Z3" is shorter than the minimal length of 3 letters for the search engine. What's the remedy????
Wow, lots of newbies lately.
Ever heard of «thread hijackings» and «off topic»?

Nice! Now I know you bought the Z3 for a more relaxed ride, but how does the handling compare to the S2000? Z3 1.9 seems to be known for its light weight and handling.

See you in the twisties!
I have a 1.9l with Eibach pro kits and Koni SA's, I'm a bit over -3 degrees in the rear.

-3 degree....that seems pretty high? How is the wear of the tire on the inside? I was always unmounting tires and switching them left to right and vice versa to save tires and I'm just sick of it.
Do I know about off-topic and thread hijacking? I've been lurking around on Honda forums for a few years and Hugo already comes out as one of the biggest thread-hijackers. I don't mind the empornium links though.
Actually the 1.9 "feels" heavier and not as nimble....but that's probably just because I'm not used to it yet and the suspension hasn't been modded. However the thing I miss the most on the S2K is the power wind screen. This mesh one I bought just doesn't feel quite right...oh well.Originally Posted by reizor

The tires I'm running now have about 9k on them with decent tread left (Kumho Ecsta Supra 712- 225/45/17). They obviously wear more on the inside but I wouldn't call it excessive, however I also don't expect to get 20k+ out of any tires I put on the Z3 like some other owners would.Originally Posted by loktin
