Question about mixing run-flats with non-run-flats

Bad idea to do this or does it matter?

Winter tires are in short supply now, and I need a set for my new X6 M performance.

I found 275/40/20 run-flat Pirelli Scorpions for the front, and 315/35/20 non-run-flat Pirelli Scorpions that would fit the back.

If this doesn't work, I'll have to look into buying a new set of 19" rims and tires, or try to make it through the rest of the season without snow tires.

    update:

I think I answered my own question by delving into the tirerack website and looking at other forums.... sounds like it's a bad idea to mix run-flats with non-run-flats, even if all-else is the same.

So, anyone selling a set of winter tires for an X6 with 20" rims?

IMO as long you have two the same on the same axel it should be fine but as a rule you sdould never mix things in your car like shocks springs or tires. It is always the best to have all four corners to complement each other.
