Yeah, they all have them and its very common for them to disintegrate. I bought a set from a low mileage car and they're mint, but short of that the only other thing you can do is buy them new from the dealer.

Mine were cracked... decided to remove the rest so it wasn't such an eyesore. I've since forgotten about it.

Thanks for bringing it up and making me worry about it again!!!! Ha Ha.

Got them here. I hate the ltw carbon ones. So tacky with the fake carbon strip. If that strip was real it would be a different story

Can anyone confirm what those little plastic end cap covers are in terms of part number? I dont need a whole new door sill for my 1997 M3 sedan. The part numbers posted and links on Google (and RealOEM) seem to just refer to these plastic end covers as the entire door sill which is not my problem. The part number is just n M3 sedan door sill anyway which would not help me even if I did need a new entire door sill.

I cant imagine these plastic caps cost more than a couple bucks.

    Thanks in advance.

They're not made separately. They're molded onto the sill itself.

Yeah the only way to get them is to replace the entire sill, as far as I know. Unless you want to try and fabricate your own and glue them in.

Who here has a 3D printer & could make up a batch? While you're at it, could you make a bunch of the rear window gasket L shaped corner pieces?

Dammit. My driver's side just disintegrated on me when drying the doorjambs this last weekend. I like the 3D printer idea. My dad has one, but I'd need some seriously accurate measurements since he's 1000 miles away. Postage is gonna get really expensive here in the next few weeks!
