Got the m50 back in my e36 resto project after wasting several hours and finally discovering I installed a motor mount bracket upside down . The good news is it runs. I didn't destroy it when I tore it down. The bad news is its too damn cold to do any more work on it.

I hear ya. It's 20 degrees outside. Seems hard to believe ill be converting my carport into a paint booth in a few weeks. That's when the real fun starts. M3 front and rear bumper and a new hood. Maybe even a new ragtop.

It is 80 degrees on the beach in Florida (New Smyrna Beach). Have not seen many E36 during my week in FL - just a few.
Beware...the invites.
mind your well-honed instinct.
With the spectacles of truth,
they look like this.
Just got done replacing a CCV system on a M54 5 series.
also having the kid refinish a wheel for me.
Tomorrow hope to prim the bumper.

Ok you got me convinced that boost is where I want to go. As if I need another way to spend money
When I drop off that driveshaft we'll have to go over parts lists and brand names. I did some checking and it looks like I can get used parts in decent shape. I just have to get them one or two at a time. My wallet wont allow me to get them all at once.

My 328i project car (bought 2/17) is running, though not yet ready to drive). It took twice as long and cost twice as much as I expected and it is not finished yet.
We all are taking to long. Im hoping to have mine ready for the 7th

Greg can tow it behind his new GT4094R turbo E36 with 4 inch exhaust and you should still run in the 12s.

A center post lift. Rare sight in the 21st century.
Butters did you use bondo at all, that came out really nice
E36 in pieces
I used "bumper repair" its 2 part, flexible and yes made by BONDO.
But only used it on the. 2 cracks. All I did was sand the whole bumper down 400 grit and shoot it with high build flexible primer.
This is my first attempt at body work. I've always wanted to give it a shot but never had the patience for it.

Bumper looks great. I couldn't see any flaws and primer always makes them show up big time
