Not sure where you can get one, but I'm really looking forward to seeing your RHD converted, air braked, baur converted e36 with proximity sensing alarm, lighted door sills and rear power sun shade when it's finished.

When I worked for BMW Canada, I'm pretty sure I looked into getting one and the part was discontinued.

I could be wrong. Call your local dealer.

lmao i just realized how ricer that sound to note it will have lighted door sills, proximity alarm, and rear power sun shade, the other was just ideas and maybe just maybe the air break too if it wont cost me more the $500 but the idea is slowly fading.

yeah it would be a retro fit e46.
and i hate super dark tint i only got tint on my car because i got tried of everybody trying to mean mug me while driving.

okay so i found one in the uk do u think one out of a 740 could fit?

the manual e36 sunshade parts are NLA from BMW, but used ones can be found on ebay.de by typing in "e36 rollo" in the search. it is also called a "sonnenrollo", or you can type in "hutablage" which is the rear deck and it will pull results for rear decks with the sunshade already installed.

they did not make an automatic sunshade for the e36 OEM, you would need to retrofit.

oh and by the way i have a manual sunshade that i got shipped from germany sitting in my closet, ou would just have to modify your rear deck to fit. make me an offer.

this is exactly what I have, not my picture though, and I don;t have the install manual

No, won't fit. Think how big the rear window of a 740i is compared to an e36.

My roommate has a e38 740i and he retrofitted the power rear shade. Just for kicks I tried to put just the shade without the deck attached in the rear window and it didn't fit. It's about 6" too long.

You may be able to retrofit one from an e46, that'll probably fit..
