PSA: Daytona Violet (Euro?) M5 on Yakima Wash CL

No affiliation. Saw it on GCFSB

Love the color and the interior. No comment on the wheel choice

It's underpriced, and still for sale, which could be a bit odd. Also missing factory wheels, and it should be a 6-speed, not 5... Wonder if it has floating brakes? It does appear to be a B38.

Too bad it's such a fugly color.

The seller sure needs to brush up on his sales skills.

I would expect a Euro M5 in the good condition that you would expect with that kind of mileage to sell quickly for $16k. The S38B38 and the great color combination add a lot of value to most of us nerds.

The wheels and level of the rear suspension really put me off. I would bet that the EDC is toast. If the EDC has been left to rot, what else has?

There are a lot of other cars in that price range that would push this car out of the way.

But who knows, I am making a lot of assumptions. It could be a great deal for somebody who is able to suffer the antics of the seller.

The reason why you don't see a picture of the front is because it has a wide hood and a narrow grill.

I was just emailed a copy of a PPI done on this car and I would advise to stay far, far away.

Those issues above are common to all E34s, no?

Sure, it's not a great example of the car, but it's also relatively cheap for what it is. I have a local friend with an S38B38 that was MUCH more money... and dropped a valve.

Looks like an easy list, should be able to bang most of it out in a day. The accident damage and lack of 6 speed are the only biggies
