    Post The new BMW Z4.

This is the new BMW Z4 and it's there to make you look forward to spring 2013. New exterior features, detailed interior refinements, a new equipment package (new Design Pure Traction special equipment package) and new entry-level engine variant (BMW Z4 sDrive18i, powered by a 2.0-litre engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology developing 115 kW/156 hp). We call it good news for the sunny days.

It is in the new movie "warm bodies." Saw it last night with the girlfriend, she got annoyed as I kept on drooling over the amazing looks of this car... Looking forward to its release!

I miss when the numbers on the car matched the displacement of the engine. I understand, barely, "overstating" things with turbocharged engines. But this Z4 has a turbo 2.0L engine and is referred to as -18i? I don't like it.

As they carry the z4 line forward they appear to be softening the sharp angles that made the z4 the car it is/was.

Guess they're trying to figure out what sells, so I can't really blame them.
Not so much a signature as a cry for help.

Hold on, saw this in a cartoon once...think I can pull it off.

I like it, I think it sets the Z4 further apart from the Z3 in its styling.

How is this a new Z4? It's just the E89 with the M-sport bumpers and some new engine options.

I hope the next Z4 doesn't try the headlight-cutting-into-grille look of the F30.

This is the refresh. It's minor stuff. There's nothing wrong with the E89 looks.

Why no V8 like the one they race in ALMS?

I still think that car should of been called the Z5.

Not based on 5 series platform.

Think of the last Z4 as a Z3.5 that they rounded up to 4 and then the E89 makes sense as a Z4.

All 2-door BMW's are even numbers finally. 6 and 8 were always coupe derivatives of the number beneath them. Even the Z1 shuld have been called Z4 because it was a 2-door sportscar based on the E30, but I guess they just went with it being the first Z model. The numbering system finally has a sort of order to it nevermind the silly GranCoupe models these days and idiotic model designations nowhere near actual displacement.

And names like "X6M 50d 5.0d xDrive" are just sad.

Z3 and 1 series are coupes... Guess they're fixing the coupe 1 series with the 2 series but still... Whatever, it got all too complicated nowadays
