My owners manual doesn't have this information. I know the dealer says to wait til the green lights go out, but, I do some of my own maintenance and I'd like to know when to replace fluids and to flush and clean certain systems.

Can anyone help me with this? or forward me a link to these numbers? Thank you.

Glenn, for 96-98 328is every 10,000 miles is Insp I or II toggled. Instance first 10,000 miles is Insp I then at 20,000 Insp II, then at 30 Insp I again, so it toggles every 10,000 miles.
It's all preventive maintenance and routine fluid change.
Tranny fluid, gear oil, microfilter, air filter, spark plugs changed every insp II.
O2 sensor every 100,000 miles.. I do oil change every 3- 3500 miles..
Then they check brake werar, clutch play and whole lot for 4 times as it is worth. Most of it is DIY. Get a Bentley manual.

Dont follow those lights... they wont go out for like 10k miles. I change my oil with Mobil 1 0w-30 every 4k miles.. do the other fluids, plugs every 30k miles. Most people here do about the same.

It is pretty tidious right.. hunched over the engine bay with all these damn bolts to take off just to get to the plugs.. but all well worth it and fun in the end.

Its around 36k for Inpection II.. 30k.. 36k.. not a big difference. I did my first change around 35k.. gonna change my plugs next around 60k.. whenever I get to it around that time.
