Very nice 740. You can't go wrong with an E32, especially if you're planning to work on making it stock New. This is a car that deserves an owner who will care for it. While going over the things that are not working at the moment, let me know. Although I have the M30 6 cylinder, I've had the car for 24 years now. I bought it new and will never let it go. It only gets better and better. If you back off to page one here you can see how I've kept mine. Any interior parts or engine parts you need, new or used and guaranteed, I have lot's of places to send you. Everyone is here to help......again, good luck.

A few updates to my e32 that Ive recently done.
First is my hood bra. I love it, and it covers up some unsightly imperfections on the hood for now:
Second is my interior. This was probably the biggest change I have ever made to a car besides suspension. I redid the headliner, abc pillars and rear deck all in black suede. It took me about two days, and there are a few imperfections that are slowly driving me crazy, but it was my first time and the material wasn't very forgiving:
I also thought that the wood trim didn't really go with the updated material, so I went with a more "sporty" look with some matte carbon fiber from 3m dinoc:
And lastly a very subtle delete of the "735i" badge on the trunk:

Hi guys! Just picked up my first BMW. An E32 750il. For $750! I can't believe I got as much car as I did for that price. Anyway, here she is...

Wheels bought from Josh here on bimmerforums and also a Shogun hot chip kit. I have to say, after less than a month, I'm addicted already!
88 BMW touring top down 02.jpgI’ve always loved an open car.
This is my first E-32 as I would have liked to have done it.
Make a box section front to back of the lower half of the doors for strength when you cut the roof off.
Make the doors from the bumper trim up. This would mean a bit of a step to get in.
Cap the tops of the doors as there would be no windows.
Cut the roof off and make a folding assembly for the top.
People asked “what happens when it rains?” and my reply is “you get wet.”
Gerta.jpgThe second picture is my current love, Gerta. She’s beautiful, fast, comfortable and reliable.
Pick this up this weekend. 89 750il from my SO father for a very right price.
Had a few e34 before this so most of that knowledge should transfer over. Car sat for a year, Jumped it and it started right up. Th mice made their home in the engine bay. In the process of looking for leak if there are any.
Got it running yesterday in the driveway. Runs pretty good, has a slight miss sometimes and a check engine light, but I cannot pull the codes until I get a battery in it.

wow! i had to comment...i love this car. is it the original suspension or did you drop it lower?
How did you drop it? Cut springs? And does it bounce alot?
I love your wheels maythm, they are absolutely stunning.
That car is imported from Japan, can see it from the marker pole right side, also called parking pole, that was a special part made in Japan by BMW Japan. See also my car on the left.
Did you paint the taillight stripes in the same color of the car or is that white taped?
Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
no i didnot cut the springs i replaced them with eibach sport springs ... it dose not bounce it rides very smooth
