Welcome! It's the first time I see an E32 with E34 M5 turbine wheels. It's a special look, do you have more pictures? Maybe consider creating a thread for your car, if you will post updates.

Stunning -- and didn't know that about Karl Langerfeld. Awesome
1989 BMW 750iL (prod 08/88) (vin: 2768675)
Gone but not forgotten: 1994 BMW 740iL (prod 10/11/1993) (vin: *DE89667) 6spd swap, 2001 BMW 740i Sport
@jpjeto - Nice one, I really like your 735i, especially rims, which give him unique look. Interesting that on this page on theme are only 735i models.
I did some things on my vehicle too, and the biggest one is new rims. I had style 16 rims from E34, and I really didn't like the look of the car, so I bought style 5 and now is completley different story. For me, the car looks more elegant and it's closer to the original idea of E32, which I like the most.
Which combination do you like more?
It is perfect!
Thank you, I'm very satisfied with this wheels, it is original design idea of E32, which I like the most.

This is my machine, 1988 735i.
I can't take credit for the photograph though.
This is very nice
And the colour is top, I like it very much. Is it manual or automatic?

Congrats on getting the car back on the road!
It is funny in a way because the E32 doesn't feel like that large of a car nowadays, and fits pretty well in the "small car" parking space.

I just re-did my "show your ride" thread from page 1 to page 14. I mean most of the people from page one are either no longer around or have let go their E32's. Hope nobody minds. Took quite a while for me to learn how to make clickable YouTube links and such. Deleted all my old pictures and put here the most recent of both car and motor. Did my best. Maybe more people will post more pics. I love looking at them and really love those one hour videos from our buddy in Canada. Cheers!
Original owner. Everything kept completely stock. Alpina Wheels added 2015. 8.5j X 17 ET12. Engine bay now in order. Powder coating etc. Finally received my Florida vanity Tag. Still loving my E32. Thirty two years and still my daily driver.

I just had a guy in California, for a decent price completely rebuild an original OEM Pioneer KE83 (given to my by Vito from the forum), and a trunk mounted Pioneer CDX M90 that I purchased almost new. Great and almost an impossible find. When I bought the car 32 years ago the salesman never even offered me the trunk mounted CD player. Although the car came wired for it. I would have never left the lot without that dealer installed option. Now that my Blaupunkt Toronto failed after 24 years I'm very happy to have gone back to OEM. My Blaupunkt was a single CD head unit with it's own 40 watt per channel amp. I thought it was just fine but everything sounds better now playing with my sound system the way the factory intended it to. I think my Blaupunkt was supposed to be used as a pre-amp to the BMW factory amp, but I'm thinking it wasn't wired that way when it was installed by a local guy all those years ago. Everything is wired correctly now by a BMW Tech, who knows the car. Through my OEM trunk mounted factory amp, instead of skipping it and using the Blaupunkt's head unit's amp for power. Forgot what I was missing. Getting older. At my age, you can forget these things......................Just 30 seconds of Harry Connick Jr. on one of the CD's from the trunk. Just basically wanted to show how nice and quiet a well taken care of E32 can sound after 32 years of gentile and correct service. Those of us who are left with these cars need to do our best to keep them out of the crusher. We can't let them disappear. Also, since replacing the fuel system in 2014 or there about, (not that it needed doing, but just because it was time), once the new fuel pump, filter, lines, fuel pressure regulator, fuel rail, 6 injectors with O rings and a few other little things were completed, I went back to using ethanol free gasoline. After all, this motor wasn't meant to run on 10% sugar. Today they build cars to burn ethanol. I'm not a mechanic but common sense tells me since back in 1990, they weren't manufacturing our gasoline with 10% ethanol, my motor was built to run without it. But, who ever said I had any common sense? I forget what year it was when they stopped giving us choices. Car runs smooth as can be on REC 90 non ethanol gas. I find it everywhere. Just need to look. Best part of my E32 experience was joining this forum about 10 years ago, meeting and discussing the car with E32 people from every continent. It's the first and sometimes the only place I go to when I sit down at my desktop. That's right, "desktop". I told you, I'm getting older. I mean, there's an iPhone in my pocket, but not for BimmerForum reading........I'd go blind. Cheers!

WOW Jeff the car looks great. I still have my 87 Euro 5 speed E32 going on 9 years, not nearly as long as you have had yours. Abdul still has his 12 cyl. E32. So like you we are still around. I just had some work completed on the rear suspension (dog bones. car runs perfect. It is presently in the upholstery shop having the drives seat rebuilt and recovered and the passenger arm rest recovered. I'll update photo's after work completed. We had to cancel our plans to attend the Vintage as both Joanne and I got Covid. Feeling better but no perfect yet!
I had over 1,500 pictures of the Vintage sent to my by friends who attended in all those pictures there was NOT one e32 that I could find. As a group we should do better showing our what I have come to call " The BMW E32. . . the forgotten Vintage BMW"
Hope you are well. AND we NEED to get together again with Abdul!
Thanks Bob. Good to hear from you. Let's hope we can all get together soon. I'm in the process of getting a new set of tires. Looking for comfort and not so much lots of mileage, which I don't do any longer. So I'm doing a summer tire. My Pirelli P7's I've had for six years and the year is two years older than that. So for age alone I want to make a change, even though they still look fine. I've researched and I'm going with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S max performance summer tire. I know they're not to be used up north as an all season tire, but I never bring the car further north than where we met that time in Port St Luci. They say don't drive continuously in temperatures less than 40 degrees. I never do. They're the best tire for dry and wet driving in rain and are supposed to be a really comfortable ride. I'm getting them from Tire Rack. They're 235 45 ZR 17. Same size as my Pirelli's and the recommended size for my 17 inch Alpinas. I'm also giving myself a present. I ordered from BMW 20 new wheel bolts. Why not. Mine are 32 years old. They came today, and for the wheels, I ordered from Alpina in Germany the correct metal valve stems that I never had. Not expensive, and the shipping was fast and reasonable. So we'll see. I have this guy that comes to the house with a truck and he has the Hunter 9700 machine that does the road force wheel balancing as well as Match Mounting each wheel. An extra step to make sure the run out is correct, and that the tire is rotated at the correct position on the wheel before final balancing. I learned about all this by watching the Hunter training video on you tube. The video that the installers get their info from. The guy is highly recommended by Tire Rack and I'm hoping in the end since my front end is totally together I should be able to be able to get rid of that infamous E32 shutter. He's got 35 years experience and knows what I'm looking for. Fingers cross. I'll let you know how it goes. Only thing left is to get the tires here. So here we go. Regards,
Jeff

What an amazing looking Bronzit E32... I remember seeing your photos from years ago!
Mine looked almost as good as that once, and now I feel the need to get the clearcoat and bumpers redone...

Wow, CroughtonE32, I'm sure I've said it before but your e32 is stunning! I'm very envious that you've been able to enjoy driving one since brand new Thank you for sharing those videos!
I'm a little bit north of you, near Melbourne, FL. Let me know if you guys plan on doing a meet-up; I would gladly join if my e32 is on the road (they always seem to be under the knife for various projects haha).
M60Power we did a meet up about 4years ago close to Jeff. I am sure Abdul would like to do another meet up also. I leave in Leesburg, Abdul lives in Kissimee and Jeff is in Palm Beach County. Are you a BMWCCA member? Lets set something up. I have a very flexible schedule.
Good stuff, all those areas are definitely within easy driving distance for me, and honestly I'd be OK with pretty much anywhere within florida. No, I'm not a BMW CCA member but I really should join the club at this point, I've only ever owned BMWs my entire life haha.
Based on my schedule, I probably won't be available for a meet-up until late September time frame, but I'll keep you updated. And feel free to PM me as well if there's a specific month / day you guys are thinking of.
My 'project' E32 is now back on the road again, but its rear interior is still disassembled because I am now slowly working through the rear (and eventually front) suspension aspects of the car. Here are some recent photos after completing some various driveline and driveshaft work related to the 6-speed swap, and new e38 16" wheels installed too:

Your car is looking excellent, m60power! In my opinion 16" is the perfect size of wheels for the E32.
May I suggest 51111974982 to complete the clean look?

Thanks! I agree, 16" wheels are a great happy medium for these cars.
Yes! I actually already have one of those front plate covers, I bought one from BMW over 4 years ago, I just haven't installed it yet. The plan was for the plate cover and the new OE chrome exhaust tips to be the finishing touches for when the car was completely 'done', but let's be honest I'm always tinkering, so the car will never be truly finished I finally put the chrome tips on a few days ago, I just need to find a good way to attach that cover.
Stepping out of my thread to post some photos here.
Still lots of things to do on the car but it's starting to come together.

Sharing some pictures of my 1994 740I with 180K on the odometer as I attended the 2022 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix back in July. Am the second owner of this original Florida car back in 1999. Nikasil block replaced at 90K miles. Original paint and exhaust; always garaged in the winter so has never seen salt. Most recent maintenance was to drop the front cross member to replace all the hydraulic power steering lines; that was a PITA. Also had to replace the two seals on the transmission shift shaft. Dropped transmission pan changed filter and fluid. Still love to drive this car even after 23 years. Only E32 at PVGP for the last two years I have attended.
