    Grill/Kidney Swap to Large/Wide?

Can it easily be done? Would like to put the 740/750 grills onto the 735i. Going off my knowledge of most BMWs it would seem you remove the screws and clips. Swap them out?

    True? False?

    Check the Signature
    Nope. Need to swap hoods.

Or cut up your current one to make the new larger ones fit.

Not sure I could easily find an islandgrun hood made for wide grills. Oh well. Thanks for the quick answer.

You can score a clean hood from any 750, and take it to a panel painter. He will match your islandgrun perfectly.

I have had this in mind as a project.

And don't forget to change the metal plate under the grille. Without that i still does not fit.

there is a write up how to change to wide grill on the website of Jon Evans, link is on my page under Links & lots of DIY>>other DIY sites, it has pics and part numbers.
Besides the grill and hood you also need the metal parts under the headlights, as already mentioned by pa520

    750 grille/hood conversion

I've recently done this and LOVE the results. You will need: hood, grille and bottom guard piece.I also took it one step further...blacked out the grille. Looking for some wheels and going to drop. Can't load pictures yet. :-(
