Up for sale is my beloved 1991 M5 build date 02/90. Last 7 of VIN is BK05912. This car was originally a Hawaii car and was brought here in the early 2000's and therefore has NO RUSR. The car is up to date on all services and I have done extensive repairs and maintenance since I took ownership slightly over three years ago. I bought the car with 179k miles and it currently has 199k miles so I only put on about 6k miles per year. I have receipts totaling over $40k to make this one of the best driving e34 ///M5's on the road. As you will see in one of the pictures I have a 3 inch thick binder filled with receipts. Everything works on this car as is should including the cruise control as well.

Upgrades that were done to the car
-Bavarian Autosport Suspension w/SLS (Self-Leveling Suspension) Deleted

-Throwing Star Wheel Covers on BMW M-System II Forged wheels (BMW Made 2 exactly the same style wheels for this car, one set was forged, one wasn't. These are forged.)
-Wheels custom refinished by Wheel Collision Center in PA with custom Machine Finished Lips and all Throwing Star Covers and center caps were either refinished or replaced. All Roundel emblems on wheels were replaced
-Alpine 9887 Head Unit (with iPod hookup) which lights up orange to match the cluster and red to match the illuminated shift knob/heater controls
-MB Quart "Q" Series component speakers front & reat with JL Audio 300/4 amplifier, with power distribution block, crossovers hidden behind trunk paneling
-JL Audio 8w7 Subwoofer in customer enclosure powered by JL Audio 500/1 Mono Amp
-All RCA wires are top of the line JL Audio and all power cables are top of the line JL Audio too
-Custom built to still have access to spare tire, which is also an M-System Wheel with a throwing star cover on it and extra center cap
**This is honestly the best balanced stereo I have ever built, the highs and clarity are amazing, the bass is just enough, sounds great but will not rattle your mirrors or set of car alarms, not to mention it barely weighs down the car with one 8 inch woofer.
-Optima Blue Top Battery (no flickering lights when running stereo)
-Total Cost for stereo installation with stereo components was $4400
-Custom battery wire ran to and hidden in trunk in case battery dies, since these cars have electronic locks and the battery is under the rear seat, you can put power to the battery through the trunk in order to get into the car to jump start it.
-Viper Alarm with Pager system & Remote start, 2 remotes, however only 1 is a pager but both can be used as a remote start
-Hagus Euro ///M5 mirrors with split blind spot glass
-Euro bumper corner trim with sidemarker delete
-///M5 front and rear OEM plate frames
-New OEM illuminated shift knob
-Retrofitted e46 e-brake handle

-OEM BMW Euro Clears all around which are now NLA

-Brake Fluid Flushed with ATE Super Blue Racing Fluid
-20% Tint all around (except windshield)
Again, I'm sure there are some things that I'm missing here
Items included with the sale of the car
-Additional Set of M-System II Forged Wheels w/turbine covers and Michelin Pilot Alpin Snow Tires (wheels could use refinishing but are more than presentable for winter wheels)
-Stainless Steel Brake and Clutch Lines
-Slave Cylinder (nothing wrong with the current one, was going to install with the new lines but never got around to it)
-Various Trim Pieces
NOW THE BEST PART...I JUST SPENT 9 MONTHS HAVING THE CAR PROFESSIONALLY PAINTED. THE WHOLE CAR WAS PAINTED WITH THE GLASS OUT MINUS THE DOOR DAMBS BECAUSE THEY WERE STILL IN GREAT SHAPE. -All Door Handle Trim with Rubber Gaskets (Not installed but will be prior to new buyer purchasing)
*Items that need to be completed and will be prior to new buyer taking ownership
-When the car was painted they didn't finish the two tone paint job, so right now the side skirts are grey and the lower portion of the front and rear bumper are black, upon the buyers request I will have the skirts painted black, or I will have the lower portion of the bumpers painted grey
-They forgot to install the shadowline pieces that run along the top lower portion of the door on both sides.
A couple of issues with the car. There are two small tears in the driver's seat one on the lower outer bolster and one on the right side of the thigh support. They have not gotten any worse in the past three years and haven't bothered me.
All in all this is a great car and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It is one of the strongest running e34 ///M5's I have ever driven. I already have a weekend toy and I am buying an e46 ///M3 as a DD.
Asking $12,900 OBO, Motivated Seller...DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE, YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT FOR A LONG TIME IF EVER.
I can be contacted via email at dpitchm3@gmail.com or via cell phone or text at 201.621.3325
Thanks
Drew

Host those photos on photobucket or something similar. I can't see anything.
What's with everyone knocking M5 for sale threads? I thought I Was bad but damn you guys are awful
I own mostly junk. Except the Porsche, that's kind of cool.
All the motorcycles are trash which you can read about at

So everything has been done but the impending $10k engine rebuild?
Sorry, looks nice but, I couldn't help myself.
Incredible amount of work in this car. Good Luck with sale. Can't have been an easy decision. Someone should snap this up and enjoy the fruits of your labor. I hate being passed on the track by the E46 M3 crowd, but can't see giving up the S38. BTW 195k on my car, BK05288. Tracked last weekend on sh*t Primewell tires.
The head was redone on the car at 150k...forgot to mention that minor detail

I think you meant 02/91 production. My 05097 was an 01/90. Doubtful they made 800 some cars in 1 month.
I'd post compression and leak down numbers also if possible.
As well as a video of it running and idling.

Mother of god its gorgeous.
...but the single piece of chrome at the bottom of the windows bothers me. It suggests that that someone attempted to shadowline the car and didn't complete the job... otherwise great looking car and a good buy, considering all the upgrades and maintenance records that comes with it.
Good luck with your sale.
Gone but not forgotten:

Wow, another M5 gem coming from NJ! GLWS
