I've got a silver one for sale, I believe all hardware is included (my buddy took it off before he sold the Z3 for me a while ago). Also has the storage bag. I'm in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada - an hour north of North Dakota, and about 7 hours from Minneapolis. PM me if interested.

I bought a Z3 this year. Just got my hands on an (imola) red hardtop with hardware kit (bolts no tools) in New York. I'm looking to trade for a black one (save me paint job) but I'll also listen to offers. I still have my backup / second car so I'm not worried about time to find another hardtop. PM me if interested.

    That's unfortunate.
May have gone to $2k if it was silver.

Dark grey on silver looks good until you want to paint it. At least it isn't a weird mismatch....

There's tons of value in a local hardtop sale. Local seldom happens let alone in your color. It has a mounting kit. You might wait forever for another local ht. The price is correct when you consider the value of the kit.

I have no affiliation, but this is a good opportunity for you.

    I'm not disagreeing.
But the weather is starting to cool so it would be stored away till next summer.
So I'm not in a hurry.

Store away!? I've been waiting for fall weather since I bought mine in February. Summer can be way too hot (here in PA at least). The way I see it, I have at least 1-2 months of good driving left till she's stored away for the winter. And yeah, I have a hardtop I never plan on using in Steel Gray. I just leave it on its stand in my living room. Everyone thinks it's artwork lol.

I have a mounting kit and either a Hell Rot (minor cosmetic damage) top or a Steel Gray (great, but not perfect shape) top for sale in DC. I'm keeping whichever one doesn't sell.

I have a silver in Houston that I rarely use. Any chance you'd be interested in a trade?

I'm considering buying a z3 tgat has a hard top. When I go to buy, what should I look for? How hard are they to remove and add? I live in Denver and plan to run the car all winter but not on snow days. I'll try my hardest to keep in a garage and to not have the top get piles with snow but it could happen

Honestly though. I'll probably sell it. I think the color is cslled sienna red

Sienna Red is a really stunning color, especially with a hardtop. When you are evaluating a car with an HT, look at the condition of the top, at the leading edge where it meets the windshield frame and at the trailing edge where it sits on the body ahead of the trunk. Make sure the headliner is in good shape and the locking handles rotate smoothly.

Removing the top is a two person job (or use a hoist). You should absolutely remove the top as part of your inspection. That way you can see the procedure for mounting/dismounting, but also to check the condition of the softtop. A minor but important point is to make sure the defroster switch is operational.

Don't be in a rush to sell the top. Run your car for a year through all the seasons before you decide if the HT is truly unnecessary. It can be useful both in the dead of winter and the heat of summer to maintain a comfortable cabin environment.

I may need to sell it to fix the subframe. Lol

    I'm looking at 3.0.

I'll post the link but in a bit hesitant cuz I don't want someone else to snatch it up

I've got an email to the seller asking to check the subframe. If that checks out, I'll set up a buy.

    Hey odd question, I actually had a 97 1.9 a number of years ago. I'm 6'4" and was able to fit in. I assume a 2001 3.0 g
    Has the same space?....

Yes, I'm also 6'4" and can fit in my 2002 M Roadster. The are all about the same size inside. Actually, with the hardtop on you have a bit more room.

There was no way I was going to drive a a 1.9 at this elevation. I travel from 5200 feet to 7500 feet every day
