Also, will these be made with any sort of specialty bracket to maybe bolt the bar to the subframe instead of having to weld on a special bracket holder?

Is there a reason not to just concentrate on the missing/heavier/NLA 19/20mm rear bars and then sell weld-on tabs for the existing 27mm bars? Most aftermarket bars only add 1 mm (I know it goes up X4, but...) and unless you're planning NASCAR-size bars in front....what's the point?

The whole point of the group buy was to develop bars from scratch. I was into it cuz i wanted bars for my own car not to make money.

A bolt on rear bracket could easily be made but that would not be a priority as it would only increase the cost. I know that to get 25 people to wanna pay the cost should be as low as possible.

Like I said, I started working on the group buy to get bars for my own car. If people just wanna add a rear sway they can get a stock one and do that. There are no performance sway bars available new for e23, the goal was to fix that problem.

Understandable. I have personally been looking all over for even a factory rear sway bar for the past 3 months and haven't found anything, so I'm not sure how easy they are to get anymore.

You guys have to also remember, the advantage of the front is that it is ADJUSTABLE in addition to being larger. Now I agree the rear will do the most good, but an adjustable set is ideal.

Eric, lets be honest.
Most of the time, the more adjustability people have, the more it gets screwed up.
Suspension tuning is not for the faint of heart, and its critical to understand how all the components work together as a full system, otherwise cranking that rear bar to full stiff can work against what you really want, which is more neutral handling.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I have some quickor bushings and they seem to last a while.

I have a spare rear sway. But you will still need to take it to a shop to get tabs welded onto the subframe. I have the links and bushings... just didn't feel like cutting the tabs off.

Technically they are used but fresh powder coat makes them as new. Maybe call em refurbished.
