that purple piece in the pic above looks like the a front tranny brace from the auto transmission (my jatco transmission uses one, i think i have seen the gm autos do as well), do 5 speed zf transmissions utilize it as well in the e34? the e36 with zf 5 speed doesn't.
also that dssr you made, do you mind sharing some dimensions with us? I would be interested in the width of the opening on the end pieces and also the distance between holes. also the selector rod on some cars is a bent piece, is that necessary on the e34 w/ zf 5 speed? Did you just use bolts as pins for the joints?
Yeah thats the trans brace that I ended up not reinstalling - it was on my '92 ZF e34 I think my '95 getrag has it too but I haven't checked yet. I obviously didn't bother putting it back in.
The dimensions on the ID of the U joints is 0.810". The length of the rod depends on what you need, but I have a '92 with a ZF which has a straight selector rod while some cars are bent.
For the pins I made them on my lathe out of 304L stainless with very tight dimensions like.
Received some more nitrous stuffs for my install:

hey , i have been follow your car for years , i like it a lot . but did you know the uuc dssr for e39 m5 fits if you still use zf 310 ?
this car is a never ending story
What are you planning on changing up with the nitrous system? I've seen the pictures of your old install before, looked extremely clean and symmetrical (which can be very tough to do with the feed lines!)

No idea man - I ended up just making my own because its easy since it's straight on my car.
Thanks man - before I had the direct port setup I had a single fogger. I am going back to a single fogger but I am trying to control it with good strategy using my ECU.
I need to find pictures of the nitrous setup on my GTP. The only thing I didn't like about the single fogger was the across the cylinders. I went to direct port because of that (although not as clean as yours!). Perhaps with the boost pressure/intake velocity and BMW manifold design you get more even distribution?

Yeah if I were spraying 100 - 150+ hp it'd be direct. I plan to shoot the nitrous in far enough from the throttle that it'll mix nicely. Some guys are talking about spraying it right after the intercooler.
Haste makes waste grasshoppa'!
where did you source your mil connectors from?
I get most from http://www.034motorsport.com/ but I've used Mouser and Digikey as well. The ones on the ECU are from AMP/Tyco.
Got my solid state relays in, they look trick and are PWM friendly!
