Not 100's of TO's lol. I haven't been in TO for a few years now and half of them were overturned because they were silly.

    Whatcha mean blanks? Bronze stock?

Yeah, I was meaning the stock. I thought items like that were blanks, or am I thinking cut but non-stamped coins?

No with stuff like this you buy rod and drill/turn it. A 13" piece of 932 Bronze in 3/4" (greatly oversized for something like this I should have bought like 0.625" stock) was $23.

Finally finished up the linkage pins I am working on. I had to wait for the yellow washers and clip from BMW before I could put the groove in my pin and part it off:

    Awesome work Jon.

If your M3 doesn’t have 3 pedals and 2 doors, I would really consider contacting BMW to confirm the authenticity of your incorrectly badged mid-sized family sedan.

Hey Jon, forgive my ignorance, but why did you want to make your own shift linkage? Where you not happy with current offerings?

There aren't any offerings for my car!

I also tweaked it some with the bronze bushing in the trans selector joint etc.

Not just yet Peter - we gave them 1/18 to formulate proper response and get the sewer installation in order. Hopefully they can make that - I want to move! LOL.

Btw, post up some pictures of your old nitrous setup on the M50 manifold. I was looking for some the other day. Please.

This was the old setup - I didn't get to hit it because it was very... well, I lacked confidence with the aluminum intake. I worried I'd pop the nozzles out under boost and spray my engine down with fuel.

I have a shot of my single fogger from my T3/Holset setup somewhere.

All done. Now I need to see if I can get Greg to cut them out lol.

Yeah but kind of lame because I couldn't use it

Drew up a 37* nitrous jet w/o orifice. I could fill an existing jet but I have brass and this will be a good exercise on the lathe. Plus, making stuff is cool.

Yeah I dunno why I made that rofl

Not tired, so I went out and turned this up on the lathe:

Thanks man - I use a Canon 5DII but the detail in those pictures is because I use a macro lens for most things like that.

Photo quality is like 30% the body and 70% the glass!

Yeah, I knew the lens is the bigger factor there. That one you have in unbelievable. Do you use the slrs for video? I've got a canon hx40 (i know I know), but it produces an excellent HD video even though it doesn't have raw. I was surprised by it and it mainly stays attached to my cage.

    Sorry for ot.

Yeah I do use my DSLRs for video but I wouldn't want to attach them to a cage or do any fixed in-car video - they can't take that kind of abuse.

    Finished up my DSSR!

It's NOTABLY easier to shift - the shifter falls into gear without as much resistance. Very worthwhile upgrade IMHO and also eliminated some side to side slop!

And this is how I kept it flat/square, making sure it fit the stock application and didn't warp

I was about to dis the machining on the brass nozzle until I realized how small it is and your crazy lens just makes it look huge.

Nice work on the DSSR too.
