I am not sure what the active seating option is.

The active seat option for E38's were massagers built into the seats. Only comfort seats came with that option, as you have the sport seats from an E38 they do not have the active function. Your seats however are set up for memory function if your touring has that option.

My car did not have memory or heat nor did these seats. Everything was plug and play and works (except for the up and down function which seems to be a bad motor on the driver side).

It's alive!!! It's super loud and ridiculously choppy b/c of the cam on stock tune but it's alive!

I only let it run for a few seconds b/c I want to make sure there aren't any leaks or issues. It's too late to run it again and I don't have anyone else here to watch out with a fire extinguisher but I will try and get a video soon. Will probably sound like garbage without exhaust on camera though.

I didn't know there were power seats equipped NA e39 with no memory.. But that interior is great. Maybe lighter shade wood trim would look better in the all black interior.

I have the technical graphite trim and wouldn't have it any other way. I cannot stand wood trim.

Just talked to my exhaust guy and I will be towing it over there next weekend Can't wait to hear it with the exhaust. Also anxious to see it with quad 3" single wall SS tips.

lol. Patience grasshoppers I have my power steering fitting on the way from turn-one. I removed the belt to test fire the first two times and would prefer to have a working power steering pump and water pump before I let it idle for a bit. It fires right up and I am amazed it even runs at all with the stock tune.

lol. Tackled the subframe and diff bushings. Here are some more pix of the bay. The filters will not fit with the hood on so I plan to run pipe down into the fender wells and put the elements there.

Fired it up again and blipped the throttle. Sounds like Nascar lol.

Power steering fitting arrives Monday. Then I can put the belt back on and let this beast run for a while (with video).

It'll be tough to pull off, but maybe custom fab a powerdome/bulge hood?

I would imagine if done right this touring would look ridiculous.
