What kind tire should I purchase?

    Hi-

I need to replace my tires and I am looking for some suggestions for something sportier. Right now I have Michelins (225/50/16) on my 328i.

    Thanks!

I'd say, go with some Z-rated Kumho's or I have also heard that the Michellan Pilot Sports are amazing.

Take a look at the Bridgestone S03, Goodyear GSD3 and the Kumho Ecsta MX. All of these tires are going to be a lot better handling than the OE tires. If I can help let me know.
    Thank you

From what I heard the Bridgestone S-03 tires are best out there right now.

I would tend to agree with the S03. Over the life of the tire they are going to be the best we have driven. The other tires I mentioned are excellent choices and actually in initial test they handled better. The difference is the dual layered rubber compound.
If I can help with the tires let me know.

out of those tires, is there one that particularly has a longer tread life or are they all about the same? I'm also concerned about wet traction cuz I'm nearing the end of my crap kumho ecsta supra's life and everytime i drive over a small puddle, it's total loss of traction. Real scary.

I don't think the tread life will be any better form one tire to the next.
