Just now seeing your thread. You were making some real progress on the car and your driving.
Looking pretty fast out there, and ready to be right in the mix with the Spec3 crowd.
Hopefully the crash doesn't discourage you, and you find a new chassis and can pick up right where you left off.
Good luck with everything, and hope to see you out there soon!

Thanks for the encouraging words, Joe. I'm sure I'll see you around the NASA-MA paddock soon.
Yesterday I bought a complete car with a blown motor of some kind. No clue if the motor is rebuildable or not but that doesn't matter much. The interior is really nice black leather and will definitely sell. The paint is terrible -- looks like it drove through a carwash made of tree branches several times. But, no rust that I could find and that's really what matters. New car will sit for now while I remove everything from the old car. I have the whole front fascia removed and the motor and trans will come out this weekend.

Teardown is in full swing. Motor, transmission, exhaust, driveshaft, front suspension, front brakes, steering rack, front subframe, seats, harnesses, front fascia, driver door, and driver fender are all removed. Still have to remove the rear subframe, suspension and brakes, and then some miscellaneous spares and such.

Brutal. I would have lost my motivation though; glad to see the donor parts awaiting a recipient car.

New build coming soon.

Well, that's certainly a form of closure.

Hello,
Can you PM me? I wanted to see if you might have a part from a 1994 325 that I need.
