The M50 doesn't have post-cat O2 sensors, so nothing to simulate there.
    S54 swap DME flashing - $100
S54 swap CAN interface board (for proper A/C & check engine light) - $275
e36 SAP sim/secondary air pump simulator:
    $75 - standard or $170 - plug & play
    e36 post-cat O2 sims: $115 shipped, plug & play

Will these work in the O2's on the headers of the S52, both are bad and I rather spend 110 than 300. Thanks

No, pre-cat O2 sensors are required.

What about a the M52 323is? There is only 1 post cat o2 sensor I need to simulate. Is it cheaper since there is only one wire not 2?

Very nice build quality on these connectors!

Quick question.. Where did you guys mount this? I reused the existing mount for the wire sensor wire harness. Is there a 1-3 and 4-6 bank wire or are they basically interchangeable? Just asking because my CEL came back. I'll try swapping them over tonight.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I'm on vacation. It should mount using the M3 threaded hole in the body like this:

Swapping connectors won't make a difference on the O2 sim. Can you please PM me with info on which code(s) you are getting so that we can figure it out? Thanks.

Nice, didn't notice the hole there. I'll move it over and PM you the codes! I haven't checked this morning, but last time it was ox sensor heaters on 1-3 and 4-6. No problem on the delay, thanks for the reply. I'm not in a rush!

edit: CEL that popped up turned out to be a 00 DME undefined. I found it coincidental on the timing.. either way, I blame BMW gremlins. All good now.

Just joined up in hopes that you are still offering these?
An old-timer BMW motorcycle mechanic who works around the corner from my shop has a 97 M3 that he put a race exhaust on (no cats). Keeps throwing CEL for post-cat O2's, tried running de-foulers with no luck, so time for some O2 sims, if I can find some...

Yes, I have some in stock and ready to ship. The best way to order is at e36-electronic.com.

If I still have cats, is there any advantage to buying these O2 Sims vs. Spark Plug Non-Foulers?

My car just reached the 100,000 mile mark, so I ordered some OEM pre-cat O2 Sensors and am unsure the best route to go for the post-cat. Either OEM sensors, o2 sims or spark non-foulers. If the o2 sims are built in such a way that I would never have to worry about the post-cat sensors again, perhaps it is a worthwhile option.

Are you getting a CEL due to your cats and/or post-cat sensors? If not, I wouldn't do anything about them.
