I believe my current design will work, just need someone to try on the M52 (full refund if it doesn't work).

Seeing as how I have an M52 and an S52 in the driveway. I can promise not to have to return them either way.

Sorry I didn't get on-car pictures or the instruction manual yet. I'll have my car in the air Tuesday for a rear suspension refresh, will take pictures then.

gpeterson, I'd be willing to be your M52 test dummy, as I've been needing a proper simulator for quite some time.

Quick question though: this sure is a nice and small unit. How does this handle the heat produced by its resistors? I thought that was a common issue with O2 simulators.

    Let me know, cheers.

Not an issue at all, it generates very little heat.

Here it is installed on my car. I feel I went a little zip tie crazy in fear of something snagging the wires but better safe than sorry.

Nice, thanks for posting the picture. I'm shipping a few more this morning, one of which will be tested on a M52.

BTW - all new orders will include a few zip ties. The mounting bolt & lock washer are included as well.

Thanks for being an early tester as well! Too bad shipping to Canada takes a bit longer... I'm guessing it will arrive any day now.

I hope you are saving your sim money for a turbo

I live in California so mods like that definitely complicate things. Only legal FI I can do is a Dinan s/c and I don't want to go that route.

Been considering a S54 swap which could probably be made "legal" in CA or a used twinscrew (not legal, but likely more passable than a turbo).

It's interesting how most of the turbo shops are in California. There are clearly loopholes.
