    Bought this thinking it would fit my E39 540i, Used lightly 240mm size

    If your 540i is manual I don't see why it wouldn't fit
    I still own an e30, but life has picked up speed and I no longer frequent this forum or own my e39. Thanks for 7 years of help everyone!

    Hope not I shelled out for a new OEM, I was told it would fit but the crank sensor or something was in a different place. My loss if it does. Pics

    It will fit m5 only. According to jbracing the diff is in the non moveable ignition starter sensor location. You can install it but your 540 crank sensor wont start the car.

    I have the regular 540 lw flywheel. I'm suspect it's not correct. Do you had a stock 540 flywheel by chance?
